Hit the nail on the head there Ed002. The fans want more and more but seem unwilling to accept that needs massively increased revenues to pay for it.

It's now being reported that the breakaway clubs have already signed 23 year deals for the new ESL. (23 is a strange number - why not 20 or 25)

The worst anyone can throw at FSG is that they’ve been opportunistic and greedy. But I’m not sure how that differentiates them from MP’s, Business leaders, bankers etc. It’s a cut throat world, end of.

If it’s this or being owned by an owner who is someone with significant civil rights concerns, repression of women's rights, war mongering, diplomatic issues with numerous countries, mass executions and the murder of journalists, then it’s not even a question.

Ultimately this fuse was lit in 1992, it’s just taken until now for the flame to get to the dynamite.

Certainly not from me. I actually watched the documentary on Netflix the other day regarding kashoggi. Have you watched it eds? Disgrace how these countries get away with murder and all the other antics.
