Sorry just a general post about FFP (more of a question) .
Obviously it's changing next season but I'm confused at how teams remain in line with it. Noticeably Man City, through Deloitte money league accounts City were behind Liverpool in revenue etc however have a net spend of almost €550million more than Liverpool.
Unless I'm missing something that really does not add up. With it being relaxed surely they'll have an even bigger incentive to spend huge amounts of money.
Or is it simply that Lpool have the capacity to spend lots more but are pinned back by their owners?
Many thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Net spend over what period?}

I believe that's since Summer 2016. Apologies should have made that clear.
{Ed002's Note - I have explained before about the situation at Liverpool - I don't see any point in opening it up again.}

Basically Monkey, Liverpool fund Liverpool by their success on the pitch and FSG use the name to make their money without putting any in for us to compete for quality players, just quantity of players. About right?
