Good evening all. Can anybody recommend any good LFC books? I'm currently reading Liverpool cult heroes which so far has been very good. It's got chapters on certain players who the author considers well cult heroes. However it's got chapters on Emlyn Hughes, John Barnes and Robbie Fowler. I'd consider these 3 all time greats rather than cult heroes. When I started going the game regularly Barnes was the best player in the country by a mile and I'd say top 5 in Europe for a few years.

{Ed002's Note - Whatever you do stick to the factual - perhaps the history of the club from the humble start through the period of major success in the 80s or so would be best.}

Thank you ed002.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry I cannot recommend a specific book.}

Ed note, for the love of god only read a non fiction account of Liverpool fc's history.
Ed note 2, good luck.
Me now rolling around in a puddle of my own making.

The Fields of Annie Road by Helen Poole is probably at the level of a couple of people here, great read ;)
