Just what is going on in training, with our CB's. Kobak and Davies now out for tonight's game, and one of them hasn't even kicked a ball for us.

It all dates back to the early 1920s when a player - Walter Skelmersdale - was overlooked by a Liverpool scout who attended a game at his school.

Now Walter, although having no footballing talent, had started to awaken hidden powers within him.

An unfortunate 'accident' left him orphaned, and he changed his name to Tom Marvolo Riddle by deed poll.

He went on to have some adventures, which can be read about elsewhere, but he was particularly aggrieved by treatment by 2 parties, the first was Liverpool FC (for not scouting him) and the second was a school.

As a result he cursed both parties. He was an aspiring young CB, hence the curse on Liverpool, and the teaching post he applied for was also cursed.
