Looks like its going to be a great day for Stevie G! Every l'pool supporter should be happy for and proud of him today, superb achievement.

OP, great achievement indeed.

15 May 2021 13:50:12
3-0.done! Fantastic achievement. If he has ambitions to manage this club one day he's going the right way about it.

Winning the league in a one horse race - super proud.

15 May 2021 14:40:12
A one horse race that another team has won the previous 9 times 🤦🏼‍♂️.

15 May 2021 14:40:21
Two horse race. the Premier League is a 4 horse race, at most! what's your point? Going the season unbeaten, when you still have to play Celtic 4 times and have had the league won since the turn of the year still says a lot for his management skills. Lfc fans should be happy for Gerrard, not looking to down play everything he does. I for one know i wouldn't have had half as many good memories if Stevie wasnt at the club during the noughties. A colossus of a player, a 25 year old Stevie in this team and we would walk the league next year.

15 May 2021 15:44:23
If u want Gerrard as your next manager your deluded what has he done that Brendan didn’t do at Celtic? Neil Lennon was the Celtic manager says it all and I live in Scotland it’s a joke if anyone thinks he’s good enough for lfc.

15 May 2021 15:59:28
Is this the Brendan that has Leicester in the top 4 and a Cup final in May? Sorry, its Brenda on here isn't it. Hopefully our next manager won't be for AT LEAST 3 years (i hope jurgen stays longer) but as far as Gerrard goes if he wants to put himself in the picture then winning leagues unbeaten while accumulating over a hundred points while doing very well in Europe also isn't a bad way to go about it.

15 May 2021 16:31:43
Rodgers was a massive failure I. Europe consistently with a better squad. Stevie did superbly well in Europe this year whilst maintains an unbeaten title win.

He needs to go somewhere else first where it’s a step up.

But to finish his achievements is mental when rangers were so far behind Celtic when he took over.

How an lfc supporter could be so derogatory towards a club legend is beyond me.

15 May 2021 16:46:07
Andy, who said they want SG as the next LFC manager on this thread? You are the one saying that. All in all, we are all just happy for Stevie and his achievement for winning Gers their first title in a decade and stopping Celtic from making it 10 in a row. So take a chill pill and enjoy celebrating with a club legend getting it done instead of dragging irrelevant stuff like Brendan Rodgers into it.

15 May 2021 18:59:00
To be fair Brendan is doing quite well at Leicester, so the comparison of him managing Celtic is a bit of a mute point. Not for one second am I advocating Gerrard for the next LFC manager but I guess he does have time on his hands. I would love him to manage a European team of a higher calibre, see how he gets on. Maybe some day who knows?

15 May 2021 19:01:59
Andy appears to have read this thread wrong and twisted it to fit his agenda. No one said anything about Gerrard being the next Liverpool manager, it was simply a thread praising a former Liverpool player for having some success as a manager.

15 May 2021 19:19:20
Gerrard has done well imo, he still has a way to go to be considered seriously for a top job for me, but given time to gain more experience without the glare of the premiership and loads of potential European games who's to say what could happen . I wish him all the best and hope one day to see him back home.

15 May 2021 20:05:43
Read it wrong no I’m saying anyone who wants Gerrard as manager is deluded end of.

Rangers winning the league some achievement .

15 May 2021 20:19:18
Its a congratulations to Rodgers as well today, he's been hammered by a lot of people but looks like he made to right decision to drop Celtic for a big team.

15 May 2021 21:03:12
Id like to see how he would fare in a better league but from the signs he looks like he could have something. Nowhere near being able for Liverpool but 5+ years who knows.
On a personal note i find it hard to have anything good to say about rangers and will admit i was disappointed when steve went there to manage. But that's only my opinion, others will no doubt think it was a great move.

16 May 2021 00:32:12
Andy you can’t compare what Rodgers did at Celtic to what Stevie has done at Rangers. Rodgers did it when it really was a one horse race with Rangers clawing their way back up. You could say it was so easy for Rodgers at Celtic that even Neil Lennon could do it!
That being said Stevie isn’t ready for Liverpool just yet but like everyone else has said congrats to him anyway. Let’s hope he keeps progressing so he can one day come back to us and get that Premier League medal he missed out on as a player.

16 May 2021 06:50:02
When Klopp leaves, Stevie would be a fine prospect to take over the reigns.
