Imagine if we have replica of this season next season. If Salah, Mane, Firmino and Jota got injured? The manager and club admin suppose to be asking themselves what could go wrong. As for me we need a complete striker, that will save us from the agony of so many attempts without goals.

Also, a coutinho like midfielder that could help us to unlock defences with dribbling techniques especially when those small teams are packing the long bus in their defense. Those are the lessons we should draw from the just ended season.YNWA

Thats mental talk. you can't plan on the basis that your whole forward line MIGHT get injured. Im a bit too old for the whole fifa thing on playstation but surely this is where these thoughts come from. And what do you then do with these players when Salah, Bobby, Mane nd Jota stay fit. And how do we afford them?

I the we should plan on the basis that our whole team might get injured and buy 11 world class players just in case.

If Mane and Salah stay we arguably don't need another forward. We could just put the faith in Elliott. Ox will stay in my opinion. So that'd give us Mane, Jota, Salah, Firmino, Elliott and Ox to cover attack. I would also add that Kaide Gordon already has experience at senior level so we could potentially see him in the early cup rounds. Curtis Jones is also more than capable of playing on the left or through the middle. A decision must be made on Hardy, Millar, Woodburn and Glatzel who are all now in their early 20's. I'd assume Awoniyi, Ojo and Wilson are definitely leaving. Same for Origi, Minamino and Shaqiri so long as we put realistic prices on their heads.

If Mane or Salah leave i'd guess we would go and reinvest the money in someone like Sancho. I hope Elliott is the Shaqiri replacement. As much as i like Ikone and Raphinha, Elliott could be special. I would prefer an Origi replacement but it is well worth Klopp looking at the fringe player in pre-season before we blow £30m on someone. Glatzel especially looked a real prospect before his injury. I don't see the need to rush things.

I really like Glatzel, but terrible luck with injuries. Salah, mane, Firmino, Jota, Elliot, Jones, Ox it’s right up there. One to be added for me either An Am who has a proven goal record or a forward who can cover better than Origi has done last year. There will be a £25m player out there who is the real deal, just a case of finding them.

Harvey Elliot steps up and wins the golden boot only to have it taken off h by the dubious goals panel as Harry Kane claims he scored all of them.

Aren’t Salah and Mane off to the African nations for 4 -6 weeks. So during that time it only takes Bobby and Jota to pick up knocks and the ridiculous statement becomes a reality.

Thanks for reminding about Salah and Mane's likelihood if leaving for the African Nations Cup. I love the new kids Kaide Gordon, mulowaski I mean the Polish messi, even Hardy and Elliot but I don't pray LFC attack is built on these young lads. I hope we sign a quick and fast goalscorer, One that can score goals with both feet and head, A midfielder that could give us crystal clear edge over smaller teams. Thank God we have already signed Konate to boost our Centre Back positions. A forward and a midfielder is important.

Hlozek for me looks to be the complete striker and perfect successor to Firmino - and more!

I'd like to see us move for Raphina, looks to have the makings of a top quality player, still young, played in Bielsa's system so can obviously graft as well, think he would fit into our squad well. I'm hoping Jota improves his pressing and work rate more next season as I think centrally he could be the long term answer to replacing Bobby if he can improve that part of his game.

Of course if we could get a midfielder in of the quality of Bissouma or Neuhaus it'd be a pretty much perfect transfer window but that may be asking too much. Given the money still owed on previous transers, and our reported lack of finance, it's hard to see where the money would come from, especially as Konate has already signed. Sales may be the key factor this summer but, if we keep overpicing players, we might have to make do with what we have + the young players coming through.
