Crazy just crazy. More managers have moved than players.
Ancelotti to madrid. Well have to say I relished having him at the blues and he in a way did impact our season big time.

Agree3 Disagree0

He had absolutely zero impact on our season.

01 Jun 2021 18:32:24
Blues did us in and that turned our season. He was the manager. Even if he wasnt directly involved it definitely came from the manager to be aggressive against us.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure Carlo gave Pickford orders to do VVD in mate. I don’t think he’s that kind of guy.

01 Jun 2021 18:44:50
Akira, you are clutching at straws here, mate. Everton did not impact our season in any way as none of that is true. In fact, had we lost just VVD for the season and fell of a cliff like we did then, I would have been absolutely livid with Klopp not being able to get it together and give City a right go for the title. You are giving Everton and Carlo way too much stick (and Pickford way too much credit for being some type of genius) and frankly, your bitterness is showing. Sad.

yeah i think ancelloti did they kicked the living hell out of us that game and thiago and vvd suffered injuries. I can't bear playing everton at the moment every game im scared for our players. funes mori on origi, richaliosn on thiago, pickford on vvd, digne on mane, andre gomes on firmino, holgate on firmino just to name a few their are many more a nasty nasty team.

01 Jun 2021 18:45:32
I agree with Ed0666. I think Ferguson told them to do our players in!

01 Jun 2021 19:43:59
I’m glad he’s gone. I feel like Klopp gives Carlo too much respect playing vs his sides. He definitely admires him and doesn’t play our usual aggressive game.

01 Jun 2021 19:51:33
Regardless of who the manager is, it’s a derby, they are going to kick each other off the park. Nobody goes out to intentionally injure players like that but it’s always going to be a bit of a scrap.

01 Jun 2021 20:07:21
The Richarlison one on Thiago was premeditated, the Pickford challenge was just Pickford being his normal reckless panicky self. Most blatant red card you’ll ever see but i think it came from a place of stupidity rather than intent to cause harm. Crazy that a keeper as poor as Pickford has such an iron grip on the England number 1 spot.

01 Jun 2021 20:46:29
You all didn't even see the match. It was a street scabble. Of course ancelotti didn't went break their players but definitely he had said something about taking the game to us. We did ancelotti bad in 2005. He took revenge in 2007. But the bad taste of your win will remain forever. Some of the play was exceptionally poor that game. Everton only came to hurt us and did. That everton was never seen again. Not in one game.
You will be suprised at how many coaches at top level use scare tactics and rough play to hide shortcomings of their side. Playing rough equates to putting your heart on sleeve and body on line. sometimes for some players like Richardlison and pickford who don't have the skill or mindset to win that remains their only option to impact a game.

{Ed025's Note - i have read some tripe on here akira...and thats right up there mate..

01 Jun 2021 22:03:22
Akira in talking bollox shocker.

{Ed025's Note - love it flash..

01 Jun 2021 22:25:41
Thats the greatest load of sh*te I've ever read. If you think that Derby at Goodison was rough then you clearly weren't watching games when it was Mountfield, Ratcliffe, Pat (Welsh LB), Reid and Sharpe vs Lawrenson, McMahon etc. Them were Derbies, proper kicking matches.

01 Jun 2021 22:46:23
Right come on Harry the games up, we all know its you, surely nobody else is capable of writing such absolute waffle.

01 Jun 2021 23:23:01
It’s ironic that the first work Akira uses is crazy, very appropriate.

01 Jun 2021 23:24:53
The game was a draw, Akira.
Ancelotti comes across as a decent bloke.

02 Jun 2021 08:31:46
Derby’s are always going to be a bit rough it’s just a fact of life. I think most of the challenges were normal fodder for that kind of match, only the Pickford and Richarlison ones stood out for the outright brainlessness, lack of attempt to win the ball and almost total lack of care for the outcome to the opponent.

The only thing to do is to make sure when we’re allowed to be back at Anfield in full (latest mutation of C.V. permitting), that Richarlison and Pickford are given absolute dogs abuse for 90 minutes, they’re both quite fragile mentally so they’re not going to take it very well, make it as hostile as reasonably possible for those two.
