Tielemans for 48m is what I have heard?

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Jun 2021 15:56:38
I doubt that. Leicester don’t need to sell and it’s not much more than they paid for him.

07 Jun 2021 15:56:54
For 48 million euros or Stirling because that’s quite a difference?

{Ed077's Note - why would the deal be in Euros when both the sides involved are English?

07 Jun 2021 16:06:15
As much as I like that I can't see that happening if we are struggling to find the reported 40m for bissouma.

07 Jun 2021 16:35:45
Not happening we saving up for mbappe next year.

07 Jun 2021 16:17:21
Eds77 I thought most deal were in euros even between to prem clubs. But I must be wrong. 👍🏻.

{Ed077's Note - I am not sure now....}

07 Jun 2021 16:53:12
Ed777. I was thinking of completing the deal in Chinese Yuan personally.

{Ed077's Note - instead of Japanese Yen???}

07 Jun 2021 17:16:30
Dont want him. Guys no pace and the way we play, esepcially in the middle of the park requires it.

Bissouma, barrella or de paul are all more suited to klopp.

07 Jun 2021 17:42:16
None of our midfielders really have pace? OX probably being the quickest, Gini wasn’t quick either.

07 Jun 2021 18:53:14
Gini has a sprint on him mate and that reinforces my point.

We need pace in the middle and more so now. The guy who can pick it up from the defence and carry it 30/ 40 yards up the pitch. Exactly like wijnaldum did.

Tielemans is super talents but more suited to replacing hendo.

07 Jun 2021 19:51:35
I don’t disagree I would like a player in Midfield who could carry the ball. OX could do it very well before his injury and that is why we bought Keita. Hopefully sales go well and we can dip into the market.

07 Jun 2021 22:01:53
The German kid from Gladbach would be a good additional if we could shift Keita it’s about time Newcastle bought someone off us been a while!

OP, 48m for Tielemans? You're having a laugh, yeah? There must have been someone teasing you on Twitter, IMO. Leicester would not sell unless you almost double that offer cos well, they don't need to sell.

{Ed001's Note - they paid over 40m for him, they would want a much bigger profit than a couple of quid.}

08 Jun 2021 13:21:44
Absolutely, Ed01. Prolly an opening offer of 65m gets you at the negotiating table, IMO and even that will be rejected immediately. Someone must have been teasing the OP on this one, me thinks.
