He’s just turned 18 and class already.
England have got a lot of good players at the moment, and many of them are just young kids.
It’s very heartening and refreshing to see, and it definitely helps me to overcome club rivalries.
They’ve melted a lot of my cynicism of the national team too.

{Ed0666's Note - one thing I don’t underestimate is the allure of Klopp and Edwards magic with numbers. In hindsight yes there’s been a few transfer mistakes but who hasn’t made them? I think overall edwards has done an exceptional job and he’s got so much credit in the bank he’s forgiven for a boo boo hear and there. I’m super hopeful for a good season with Hendo, VVD, Matip, Gomez, Elliot and Konate. That’s practically 5 new signings which can only be a positive for us. And remember 4 of them know our system inside out so won’t need bedding in. Personally I think we’ll sign a midfielder and an attacking player and bring on City and Chelsea.

Klop and Edwards are literally miracle workers with their transfer exploits that have led to to be one of the outright and proven best teams on the planet with the receipts (trophies) to prove it on pretty much a shoe string budget in comparison to others.

Not arsed with the mistakes they have made with transfers that I can count with one hand. I am confident we will make the right decisions.

They won the league twice under klopp and almost won the champions league too.
Its a very well run club and their recruiting is second to none. Bayern wouldn't be so successful if there was no dortmund.
When dortmund were struggling bayern was loosing titles to the like of wolfsburg and Stuttgart. Then klopp took over won with dortmund. After that bayern bought every talented player any other Bundesliga club had and kept on winning.
Its not a selling club when you make 10x profit on your players. That just makes business sense. what's commendable is dortmund always find better replacements
They managed to replace players like gotze sahin kagawa mkhitaryan auba pulisic with even better players and i am pretty sure they will keep on doing that.
Its true though they haven't won much in a decade now. But they gave made 400 millions in profit on players sales.

Spot on, Akira. Arnoldoza321, BVB are a huge club in Germany and have been more or less successful since the 90’s in terms of trophies in Germany and in Europe.

Their business model makes sense to them and they will continue doing what they are doing cos well, they simply cannot compete with Bayern if they keep selling their players for massive profits and it seems they are happy and have made peace with that for the time being even if it means they don’t win things (did win the German Cup last season tho) .

However, their ability to find even better replacements to replace the quality they have sold on, is uncannot, IMO.
