Think he's showed he's good enough to be a squad member at one of the best club sides on the planet. mostly as a teenager! He isn't fully matured yet both physically and as a footballer. Not a chance he won't end up AT LEAST a premier league level player.

{Ed0666's Note - the kid will have a stellar career, hopefully at Liverpool for years to come. I can’t see him get anything but better moving forward. Training with Thiago, Millie, Fab and Henderson every day is supreme schooling for the boy and if he doesent shine going forward and kick on I’d be shocked.

OP, if your "I don't see CJ making it" means you don't see him becoming a regular then let us give it time and see what happens. Now if you think don't see CJ making it in the first team then yourself and Ed25 need to get open your eyes cos CJ has played a lot more games than even Foden did in his first season (not saying he's better than Foden) so not sure what that's all about.

Also, not sure Ed25 is the right person thru who's lens you should be seeing these things. I mean, This is the same guy who said Fabinho would not make it at LFC, who said Gini was a dud YET played here for 5 yrs and won the lot, or who said Bobbie does not work hard enuff in his opinion (yeah, he literally said that in a podcast and got laughed at by the other Ed's) . Next time, consider the source before you make your opinion. Just saying.

When he combines his natural attacking instincts with the other midfield tasks klopp asks he will be stellar. he's been learning how to play the way klopp asks of his midfielders yet we have already seen an eye for goal - he likes to run late into the box and is a good finisher. Last season for a chunk of games when our midfield played in defence he did very well. No pressure but encouraging signs .

The boy is 20 years old. He is still developing and there is not better place for him to grow. We have only witnessed a tiny bit of what Curtis can do. If you’ve watched him I. The youth teams including the u23’s he takes games by the scruff of the neck and takes the p. He is stepping into the first team now and has played a little safe. Once he feels he has earned the right to be in and around the team I feel we will see him out his stamp on the team. Lots more to come.

Would folks see Jones not making it as they're desperate for an expensive incoming transfer or because they genuinely doubt his ability?
It seems that Klopp rates him highly, and I'd say Klopp is a better judge of player than anyone on here.

Oli. my own opinion my friend. Just don't see him the same way as you and that is allowed mate. I know you jump on every view you don't agree with but I've only seen a few flashes so far but I'm hoping you are right and he's a revaltion but we shall see. I'd suggest taking everyone's opinion into account though, you can't always be right mate. I thought he was great but his performances tailed off imo but he is young and that is understandable. So I may well be wrong.

Mark Hersey, noting gave an opinion and I challenged it using facts. That is the essence of debate. Nobody is stopping you from giving your opinion. People challenge me on my opinions all the time and I welcome that. It is not about being right as that is the wrong attitude to have in a debate.
