Looks like Danny ings could be available to Liverpool for 16 million, from the paper talk.
Is he past his injury troubles? If we realy tight on funds he could be an option. As a replacement for Origi.

I'd take Ings back, he's a grafter, he's quick and can open up play. We should never have sold him.

I would love Ings to return, I think he would get plenty goals. He would be the best finisher in the squad.

I'd definitely have him back; wether he'd come back to be a bit part player again is another question.

Ings won't be coming here to sit on the bench.
I never wanted him to leave in the first place, but he did the right thing for his career.

Ings had 5 separate injuries last season and he's nearly 30 now. As good as he is when he's fit, he had his chance at Liverpool. It's not his fault it didn't work out, but the fact is it still didn't.

Spot on, MKS. If you are wary of injury prone players or players with questionable injury history/ records and you STILL want Danny Ings then, I cannot help you there as that thinking lacks any form of logic, IMO.
For me apart from his injury record (last season's alone is frightening), I just think his time has passed. Not his fault and I regret and am truly sorry for what happened to him BUT Ings is the past and needs to stay there, IMO. Ings has made his own way and it is a miracle he still has a career. It is time for us to make ours w/ o him which we already have.

Ahhh, the good old "Origi minutes" scenario! You know Origi gets the minutes he does mainly due to his performances. There is no written rule to say a player replacing him will get the same. If he's better and fit he will get more game time, its that simple.
