Can I ask what Saul’s release clause is? I have read you reply to the Saul questions across all the websites but I couldn’t find what his actual release clause is? I am
curious as he is currently 26, turning 27 in November and if his age and cost actually fits Klopps philosophy, and the young teams he wishes to assemble by the time he himself leaves the club.

Also, I have read that there maybe a Saul / Griezmann swap deal, which seems plausible to me as it would suit both clubs in terms of finance and required positions - is there any truth to that?

I am very skeptical about bissouma. I know he is a good player but i very much doubt he will suit us.

I think we put our money in for one of the front three replacement which will be due in 2022 anyways.

If you watch him he will suit us perfectly akira, secure on the ball, good passer, but most importantly very hard working, and extremely combative, so don’t know how he won’t suit.

Bissouma pretty much bossed everyone he played against last year. The other thing I’d add to what YoungRed says is that he’s also a very disciplined player who’ll do exactly what’s needed for the team. He’s not going to score goals from midfield but he’ll enable the team to score by getting possession back quickly and help prevent goals by closing space down and defending, he’s a very good player. But Bissoumas price is a problem VVVV mate. As was Sauls. We are in a position again we’re we are left to feed of a lower table than others on the PL I’m afraid. Every player I read into eventuality ends up with the same line that his price tag or wages is a problem for Liverpool. Klopp has he hots for Insigne but let’s be honest how can we afford his fee or wages he would would demand without Mane leaving?

Akira, Bissouma is brilliant. There is no CM position he cannot play except the 10 role but we don’t use a 10 in our system so in short, he is made for us. He is strong, physical, covers a lot of ground and is technically sound, a good passer and can get forward and score goals. Oh, he can also play the DM role seamlessly. The guy is taylor made for the Klopp system, IMO.

Same with Saul. Pure filth and top class player but he won’t be coming and I’m not surprised by that. I just hope we can get someone in midfield to help out and I sincerely hope we can do a deal for Bissouma. Just as well, he is still our first choice for a reason.
