PSG are seemingly offering to make Mbappe the highest paid footballer in the world. I suspect he’ll take the offer. Mbappe is never going to play for Liverpool. If we sell Salah I seriously doubt our ability to find a world class replacement who can score 20 plus goals a season.

How is that good new for LFC, sometimes I think it's better to appreciate what you have and not hold your breath? Mo leaving us would weaken the team respective of who we sign to replace him.

I’m actually pretty certain that Mo would get more respect if he was Brazilian or Argentinian. The man is world class. His output demonstrates that, he’s done it consistently year on year for us at the highest level and he’s no tap in merchant either.

I absolutely love Mo and hope he doesn't leave but we have been good in finding forwards in the last decade or so, Torres -> Suarez -> Mane/ Mo. I am sure we will find someone if Mo leaves.

As for Lewandowski, he’s got two years at the top level maybe 3 at best and there’s no guarantee that at his age he’ll adapt quickly to the premier league and given his cost it’s too much of a risk with no resale value.

I'd much rather keep Mo (if we can keep him happy) for several more years. The way he trains and is dedicated to his craft makes me think he has 5+ more years at the top, and I'd love for all of those to be with us.

If we lose Mo then Instead of excited for the new season I will be more than apprehensive unless a suitable replacement can be found highly unlikely as Mo is currently the best forward in the world. If true it must be over a £100 million. I am just going to put it down as BS for now!

I wouldn't be happy with that. Mo has 2 golden boots in 4 years, missed out on another by a goal mbappe is a great player but we would be crazy to do a deal like that especially considering mbappes wages.
