Ed002 - would it be fair to say that Liverpool chances of signing Bissouma have significantly decreased now that Brighton has agreed a 50M fee to sell White to Arsenal? I am assuming that Brighton is in an even better financial position now and have no real need to sell.?

How much are we talking for bissouma eds? I'm guessing around 50 million? Cheers.

{Ed0666's Note - I have no idea and we don’t talk money with eds 002 but if white was £50 mill I’m assuming Bissouma would be the same at least. Or maybe white was a premium because he’s English? The mystery will unravel in the next few weeks…watch this space!!!

For me Ed0666 it's 60/ 40 against and that's just because of his fee.

Ed666. Is that camavinga? If so kid looks to have great potential. But on the other hand has a great deal of interest in him, Real Madrid and PSG to name a few so would be difficult at best. I hope you gut feeling turns out to be correct. I think Bissouma is a hell of a player who has many more gears to go up and would be my choice. I’m terms of freeing up funds, Edward the magician should be able to work his magic and move some fringe players on so we can bring him in. So safe to say Bissouma is the number one target for the midfield spot, finance permitting of course?

{Ed0666's Note - I wouldn’t be annoyed if camavinga arrived. I’m not sure Madrid are in the driving seat for his signature but well see. Bissouma ticks boxes because he’s premiership ready. I agree with you Shaq, Wilson, Divvy and grujic should free up funds for a wide forward and Biss.

Why would it stretch the funds? I know C.V. has put a strain on everyone but come on we are not exactly skint and there is a lot of deadwood to get rid of. Maybe it's just a clueless blue nose who loves to stir it all the time and try and drag Liverpool down to Everton's level. If we want someone I'm sure they will be bought.
