Ed1. Question for you if you're about. Always appreciate yours and Ed666 opinions on Liverpool matters and of course Ed2 as the oracle on all matters transfer related. I agree with you on either Bissouma or Saul as both are extremely talented. It is the wide forward position I would like to hear from you on. So it's more of a two fold question if a may. 1) From your understanding who are we currently showing interest in? 2) If it was down to you who would you bring in and why? .

{Ed001's Note - 1. it seems to be still interest in the same bunch as last summer - Traore and Sarr etc. None of them would be in my thinking.
2. I think it would be a mistake to buy anyone unless it is Mbappe, who it clearly is not going to be. Other than that, I would rather start introducing Elliott into the team. If we are going to win things in the long term, we need to give players like that their chance.}

The thought of Traore sends shivers down my spine. Not sure why we are persisting with our interest in him. Yes he is fast and strong but he has little to no football intelligence to go with that. I hope we do not go down that road, plus I would imagine Wolves would ask for a lot of money. Sarr I don’t know to much on apart from he is young but so is Elliot so I agree we should give him a chance instead. I think the signings of the summer would be to hire you and Ed666 in an advisory role on signings. Your first task would be to scratch Troare off our transfer list for good 😉.

{Ed001's Note - oh god please not Ed666! It would be my worst nightmare to have him in any role that might require him to think.}

How good is Elliott, Ed?
I keep hearing posters making out he’s something special but, let’s be honest, Fowler and Owen truly were at that age.
Is he up there with them?

{Ed001's Note - yes, he is up there, but that means nothing if he doesn't get experience in the team and keep working hard. But on pure ability, he is around their level. Difference is, they played in the first team at his age, not got dumped out on loan.}

Ed001 hope your well mate, can I just ask on both Traore and Sarr would we not have to sell one of the front 3 for either of them to arrive? Both from a financial point and also a game time point?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea, it would depend on the terms we bought them on. As for game time, hard to say, depends on form and injuries. I would be more worried that either of them might get enough game time as I don't think either are anywhere near good enough.}

I'm available Ed001🙋‍♂️.

{Ed001's Note - in that case stick with Ed666...}

Actually Ed0666 told me to post that😉.

Selling any of our front three to accommodate Traore would have to rank as one of our most stupid transfer decisions ever if we did that. Whereas there may be some minor logic in selling Mane and bringing in Sarr to replace him. There’s absolutely no logic at all in buying Traore.

18 Jul 2021 21:06:25
Spot on, VVVV. Traite is absolute tosh. Klopp may like him and all that but to sign him to replace an absolute legend in Salah, ain’t having it.

18 Jul 2021 21:54:40
I meant Traore, not Traite. Darn autocorrect.

VVVV there is no logic in selling Mane for Sarr. Nonsense, he’s still a formidable talent. If any of the front three should leave it’s Bobby.
