Question for the Eds, reading in the Echo that there may be some delays/ complications in Hendo's new deal.

Is there any truth to this, as far as you are aware, or are the tabloids reading too much into it?

I hope that we can tie down our Captain Fantastic to another long term deal, albeit there's not a huge amount of pressure as his current deal is until Jun 23.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know about "delays/ complications" but he is on the list of players Liverpool want to tie down to an extension. I am aware there is no agreement at this time, but that is all.}

Zed, this story is a nothing burger, IMO. What gave it away? They said Atletico Madrid and PSG are interested. Is that the same PSG that just signed Gini? Don't AM need to get rid of Saul who they already replaced with Depaul? Hendo will retire a Red and that is that. Have a nice summer, man.

Spot on, Zed. Always good to check with the Oracle. Zed on your last point, I fully agree. Hendo and Millie in our coaching staff, is a huge way to continue the Klopp heritage and mentality that will be filtered thru to future LFC squads to come.

Exactly. Much ado about nothing. These contracts take time. And instead of doing something constructive with their time, a lot of these journos are sitting there twiddling thumbs with nothing to do, and competing with each other as to who can come up with the most inconceivable trash click bait.

the hendo is saga is going to do my head in until the deal is resolved. I can see the media milking liverpool fans for clicks all day and night until it's signed.
