Question for any Ed that may know, how was Konate thought of by his former club, both teammates and coaching staff? I was curious as you often have insight into things like this.

{Ed0666's Note - ibou was revered at his former club. He was highly regarded as he was diligent, an excellent trainer, listened to instruction and was a highly intelligent lad. He speaks numerous languages. Ragnick took to his family when he first met them as the parents wanted Ibou to have an education if the football didn’t work out. All in all I think this guy is gonna be a great acquisition on a professional and human level.

Spot on, Ed666. I still like Kabak and think he can come good cos he has certain attributes to be a very good CB in the future. Just needs some good coaching and experience cos he is still young. Konate is obv the better and more experienced CB even if he is the same age as Kabak.

{Ed0666's Note - I think the only thing holding him back to be a top Cb is pace but that can somewhat be reconciled with spatial awareness but I’m pretty sure he’ll be an above average player when he finds his groove. Apparently Leicester are very keen if so Evans, Soyoncu and Forfan will be good players to learn you’re craft from.

Spot on, Ed. If you are aware of where you are then, you don’t need pace and Kabak is not slow either, mind you. Also, Kabak is coachable cos he improved already from where he was till he left.

As for Leicester, they have a good group of CB’s there already and personally, I would take Fofana already. That kid is going to be special.
