I’ve got a sneaky suspicion Saul isn’t going to happen and will end up at United with Pogba going to Juve / PSG. Ed002 has been saying all along United may well go in for him if Pogba were to leave and there’s talk now he won’t sign a new contract. All that plus we are skint!

I'm absolutely certain that we'll sign Sanches later in the window and i really don't want it to happen. Good as he is, his injury problems are dire.

Hoping for bissouma still and felling is he is still main target. Think the versitile forward won't happen. All this is just gut feeling.

I'm thinking it will be bissouma and bowen who will come in. and I would be very pleased with that.

As much as on the surface signing Bowen isn’t and ‘amazing’ ‘stand out’ player, he’d be a solid option on the bench and to come into the team when needed. Has PL experience, home grown and to me looks like a player that constantly wants to improve and is willing to give 100%, and for me I’d have a player with that attitude all day every day over a big time Charlie who thinks he’s all that.

Add Bissouma as another signing plus the arrival of Konate and we’ve strengthened the squad.

Let’s not forget the injured players will be back.
I just hope we can just add the extra quality to the squads that for me is much needed. And also make sure we tie down our key players to new contracts.

It's like groundhog day on here. like a continual merry-go-round of the same conversation. Let's just wait and see what happens I reckon. Nobody knows who we are going to sign so best to wait I'd say. Klopp has managed pretty well so far. I know this is a rumours site etc but the same posts over and over is tedious to say the least. We are all desperate for new signings I know but come on lads/ lasses.

OP, Saul was a pipe dream anyway so your gut-feeling is just your common sense working as it should work.

With MKS on this one. We may get Sanches at the very end even tho, I think he is good player, just think his injuries are an issues. Still hoping for Bissouma tho.

Sanches isn’t a good player, he’s all over the place as a midfielder, he completely lacks tactical discipline or intelligence. He’s only ever looked remotely half decent for Portugal, even then he looks like the kind of player you’d hard pass on as he doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing. Add to that that he’s made out of crisps and is barely available for half the matches in a season and it’s a recipe for a disaster of Aquilani/ Keita proportions as it would be good money thrown to bad which could never be recovered. If we pass up the opportunity of signing a quality reliable midfielder like Bisoumma/ Niguez/ Neuhaus for a waster like Sanches then we’ve truly lost the plot.
