A midfield of Fabinho - Thiago - Saul Niguez is a title-winning midfield and above anything, Manchester City or Chelsea could field. Saul is a captain and a natural successor to Henderson. Cannot believe we aren't breaking the bank for him. He is what you call a world-class signing.

Our net spend of about £6.40p over the past 3 seasons is causing a major problem. Thank god we won a champions league, premier league, secured record Nike deal and sold stakes in the club to RedBird just to keep us afloat.

They are no longer the most expensive players anyways. we can't drool over it forever. City and Chelsea splash those kinda sums every 6 months. How much has United spend in the last few years.

Didn’t also sell Suarez, Coutinho and players like Ibe and Solanke for a total close to £250m? So I agree all those prize winning funds, Nike, Dunkin Doughnuts, WU, Redbird etc etc.
Yeah we’ve bought others. But sold others. As it stands This window, we bought Konate £36m plus wages. Sold three players who cost us nothing thanks to the many years of loan fees for £30m plus three sets of wages gone. Yet all I hear is sell to buy. Even Barcelona who have definitely no pot to p. in manage to bring in three players, two of which are world class and not ‘free’.

Saul is just a poor man's Fred. that's what united fans tell me we! we are entering a phase of ole's galacticos. they could sign mbappe and kane and Italys defence but I'd still put money on him to lose in the semis or final and at best top 4!

Ed25, you are the last person to be going on about who is up the creek without a paddle. Neverton have literally spunked all their life savings of the past 26 years in the last 5 yrs, on absolute dross without winning as much as an argument for your efforts.

Now, you literally have to scrounge around for pennies at the subway station tinpot to use on promotional sales at Tesco for the likes of Gray (1.7m) and Townsend from the Salvation Army.
