Who woudl you chose

1. Bissouma -
Technically sound but nothing like Kante. Can do a job. wouldn't score a single goal. Good in ball recycling and pressing. never seen him advancing. not worth £50 mill. closest to Wijnaldum

2. Saul Niguez.
Always loved left footed central midfielder. Could play anywhere. technically excellent. Two footed. brilliant in carryig the ball. does score goals. a proper baller.

3. Florian Neuhaus
A midfielder who is able to glue the ball to his feet, find space almost anywhere, win the ball, make creative passes forward, and also score some goals, even from 30-40 meters. like most germans the lad is utterly skilful.

Beef, I agree if we could somehow seal the Saul move we don’t need anyone else. Maybe a pan of Scouse will do the trick.

If Nehaus is scoring regularly from 30-40 metres then sign him up! You realise that's pretty much in the centre circle right 😂

In all seriousness, Saul is levels above both of those alternatives. I still think it'll be Sanches or put faith in Keita though. A versatile forward seems more of a priority with Elliott playing in the midfield 3 every game so far in pre-season.

I make no comment on whether Saul is or isn't a decent player, I'll leave that to the experts, but doesn't it concern anyone that he only started 22 league games last season despite being available for virtually all of them, was hauled off in 11 of those and that AM are so desperate to move him on that they are seemingly prepared to accept £96m below his release clause.

Someone above said he scores goals, he scored two goals last season.

Keita isn’t going to come good. Better off cutting our losses and moving him on. He’s had three years here in which he’s done nothing, lazy, ineffective and lightweight for three years running.

Conversely, Saul is a very good footballer, he showed that against us in two legs in the champions league in 19/ 20.

He has had a dip in form last year, which he and Simeone have both acknowledged, players losing form happens (like Mane), but he was consistently one of Atletico’s best midfielders in the years preceding that. Class is permanent, form is temporary.

His worst season of his career was his last. This comes off the back of a fair few world class seasons (his market value at its peak was touted at somewhere around £80mil+ during this time) .

Ed001 has said the reason he didn't play as much was partly due to form but also because they simply couldn't afford his ridiculous contract and appearance bonuses he had in there.

Point is if you can get him firing he's one of the best midfielders itw.

I'd go for Neuhaus. He looks like everything Keita was supposed to be. MKS, I've seen 3 goals he's scored from the halfway line on videos. Not everything of course, but what's stated above is not fanciful hallucination either.

ArAy, if Nehaus has done it 2 or 3 times then fair enough. Was only banter anyway. From what i've seen i'd still take Saul but then i have seen a lot more of Saul and Bissouma.

Saul is class no doubt but I would take Bissouma as I think he is exactly what we need in akkoord midfield.
