Time for fsg to pack up and F off.

{Ed0666's Note - no it’s not. When I was growing up I wanted rich parents who would give me lots of pocket money and buy me anything I wanted. I quickly learnt life is not all whipped cream and a bowl of cherries. Not all parents are rich and not all football team owners can afford to buy a plethora of expensive players every season. FSG have been good to us made us European and Premiership champions. I’m not saying they haven’t made mistakes but what parent doesn't?? It could be a lot worse we could be owned by Mike Ashley?

Agree14 Disagree0

Because Manchester United have bought a 36 year old? Lol.

27 Aug 2021 16:39:44
Pretty sure the massive upgrades to the stadium weren't cheap.

And we've had an incentive last 3-4 years. Enjoy it.

27 Aug 2021 16:46:22
The funniest thing of all this is going to be watching Fernandes shrink into his Portugal shell under the pressure of playing with Ronaldo. That’s over half of his goal tally done for with no pens and free kicks.

{Ed0666's Note - please Ronaldo can I take one penalty a season please 🙏🏼

27 Aug 2021 16:47:22
You can try and down play it but this isn't just any other 36 year old is it 🤣.

He will be a quality signing for a couple of seasons for them.

27 Aug 2021 16:52:08
I agree with you Ureds….

Ronaldo makes them lot significantly stronger and will 100% challenging for the title.

27 Aug 2021 16:52:48
I think the PE teacher is going to struggle to manage him as well.

{Ed0666's Note - Ronaldo will be calling the shots for sure

27 Aug 2021 16:54:23
He won't he hasn't played in premier league for over a decade and it won't be a cakewalk. If he can't run he won't do much to their game apart from scoring. Ole isn't a manager good enough to handle a ego like ronaldo. He is going to dictate everything. Not to mention the financial toll it will have. Ed 002 said its 675k a week! They already have the biggest wage bill.
They might improve but i don't think a lot of their players will take liking to ronaldo.

27 Aug 2021 16:56:10
OP is a troll. Take a look at the discussion page and you can see for yourself.

27 Aug 2021 17:08:00
They’re not the worst owners but they’re far from the best. This is their 12th season and we’ve only won trophies in 3 of them. There’s definitely going to be a feeling of we missed the chance to build a dynasty last few years but what can we do. I’ve always felt they’ll sell when Klopp leaves.

27 Aug 2021 17:08:10
Maybe time for you to pack up and f off?

Man City have signed one first team player this season, in a position where they have a lot of cover and at time of writing only have Jesus as a natural striker, and are now without their first choice left full at least for a while. Possibly indefinitely. Chelsea have signed one first team player this season. Man Utd have signed 3 without addressing their biggest problem area. Which of our rivals have destroyed us in the market this year? In so far as I can tell, it's none of them.

27 Aug 2021 17:11:17
Financial implications aside it's a quality signing.

To suggest Ronaldo can't run is ludicrous, 'he won't do much to their game apart from scoring' 😂.

You're talking about one of the greatest goalscorers of all time, an funnily enough, to win games of football you need to out score your opposition 😂.

{Ed0666's Note - the United v Liverpool games will have extra edge and relish just because of this signing. I love it.

27 Aug 2021 17:16:10
Remember when United signed pogba back and they declared that they’d be winning things left, right and centre? Well, how’s that worked out? Can’t recall a league title or champions league win? This has the same energy.

27 Aug 2021 17:19:09
Interesting to see if they still pursue a Haaland or kane, as regardless of what Ronaldo does he isn't a long term solution and if they don't will they miss out on signing a better suited striker?

27 Aug 2021 17:23:00
Ronaldo isn't even half the player he was . it's going to be fun to see how a 36 yrs old player can heck and win trophies at the same time in the most physical demanding league. Seems to me it's going to end in tears. At least will have added entertainment with PE teacher try to manage him 👀.

27 Aug 2021 17:27:33
Perhaps they should have furloughed more staff for a bigger transfer kitty 👀.

27 Aug 2021 17:46:05
We'll be relying on milner who's almost as old, when keita and ox get their usual injuries that keeps them out for most of the season.

27 Aug 2021 17:47:15
Ronaldo returning to them is like when fowler returned home to us. Nostalgic, romantic and nice for them. But, a gamble all the same too. Unbalance the team, get injured or take the place of another player who did fit into the team play. Personally, I couldn't care less about who they have. We have vvd, jg jm and taa back and fab back in midfield not to mention salah and mo up front. That's a league winning team right there. Ronaldo is injury prone and not quite as good as he was with them or real Madrid. Great player but give me mo any day.

{Ed0666's Note - Ronaldo is not a normal human being or football player. The guy is a phenom athelitically. I’ve literally with my own eyes sees how he works out in the off season before pre-season training, his age 36 years of age means nothing. The guy will strengthen them there is no doubt about it. He could have the Cantona effect on them but I hope not.

27 Aug 2021 17:56:20
"He's not the Messiah. He's a very naughty boy! "

27 Aug 2021 18:25:08
Not being funny but after all the 'mistakes' they have made, the failure to strengthen our team when we are on top of the world, I have no idea how anyone still backs FSG. Beyond me.

27 Aug 2021 19:05:07
Ed66 mate you might have seen him off season working, I'm sry he's age is everything there's no way getting away from that or how much amount of work he does.

I saw him with Juventus and he isn't even quarter of a player he was, now Italy is the most ridiculously slowest league out there and juve were playing with 10 man cause Ronaldo just can't offer anything more then stay up in the box to score tap-ins etc.

EPL is completely different, it's the most physically demanding league with lots of tackles, Physical battles in the name of let the game flow, if you don't put the work then it's fair too say you won't get away like you did in Italy.

{Ed0666's Note - if he’s managed well he will ge s weapon mate

27 Aug 2021 19:02:05
No wonder Klopp got rid of his glasses. They're so negative.

27 Aug 2021 19:13:26
Now I'm sure if our 1st team is managed well then I can see EPL trophy in our bag mate 😝😂.

27 Aug 2021 19:58:16
Is Ahhhhhh a troll? Never seen him/ her post before and now it's all just controversial shot stirring posts.

{Ed025's Note - hes gone now bill..

27 Aug 2021 20:30:51
The thing is, surely it would be worse if United had signed Haaland? 21 years old and already (probably) the best centre forward in Europe, they didn’t, they signed a guy who was one of the best in the world in the twilight of his career and they’ve done in such a high wage it probably will proclude them from signing Haaland next year as a result. The only person with anything to fear is Fernandes as his goal bonus is getting a hammering this season as someone else will be taking all the dead ball’s.

27 Aug 2021 20:52:46
He is also a tactical addition so Pogba resigns and doesn’t leave for free. The owners also think he might do a Tom Brady and win them the PL or CL. This will also hasten Ole s exit quicker which is the biggest negative of CR7 arrival at Utd.
