I really thought we have a decent squad to be honest but again we are an injury away from absolute calamity.

Elliott and Minamino have knocks from what i can gather. Will probably have fitness tests for Leeds this weekend. Bobby has a minor hamstring injury which is at worst going to be 6 weeks.
Christ, i know last season made people a bit funny about injuries but this is absolutely normal for any team and exactly why we have a 27 man senior squad. How ever will we cope with only 24 players for 1 game!

Love how all the whinging children have declared that the injury crisis that they all predicted is finally here. Not putting words in your mouth Akira but in general i’ve seen a lot of hysteria about it and it’s utterly embarrassing. You’d think our entire squad were out with ACL injuries. Firmino’s is probably only going to be one or two games as per Paul Joyce, Elliotts was a knock he picked up against Chelsea, Keita temporarily cannot leave Guinea, Jones suffered a concussion a few weeks ago, and i’m not sure about Milner and Minamino. Apparently it’s a season defining injury crisis and it is really going cause us problems during AFCON, you know that tournament that doesn’t even begin for another half a year?
People are just looking for any reason to moan at this point and would rather see Liverpool do badly if it means that their whining can be justified. Tiring.
