Get well soon Harvey, unfortunately its part of football, and a great team performance.

Horror injuries fortunately are NOT a part of football.

Absolutely Irish.

One other thing, apparently Elliott gave his shirt to the kid next to him in hospital while awaiting treatment. He’s a good un.

But it happens Irish Rover unfortunately.

It was not a dirty tackle, a tackle that Fabinho makes all the time, but its unfortunate.

{Ed025's Note - spot on MR..

Handing out the red is debatable I think. I'm pretty sure a foul was not even whistled for it. It's just having VAR that allowed the refs to make the decision, after the fact. But it's a good message to give out to players. They've released some of the physical limits this season but if someone gets badly hurt, you're off. Simple. Can't be a bad thing. Hope he recovers asap, and fully.

{Ed0666's Note - I think the referees association came out and said it was an on field decision by the ref and VAR didn’t intervene

ArAy1969, that's what I thought too regarding the red cos I thought it was harsh BUT if the outcome of the tackle is a leg or ankle break then, the ref can either decide to let things go or send him off mainly due to the outcome of the tackle, not so much the tackle or intent in itself. Just my take.
