Good result that. Far from comfortable but the scoreline says otherwise!

Guys who came in did a good job. Konate impressed me with his 1 on 1 ability and recovery, less so on his awareness at times. That being said he can be coached on that and it was his first game.

Thiago is starting to really impress me, he just controls the whole tempo of the game, fingers crossed his injury isn't serious. Alisson, Salah and Mane brilliant also.

Disappointed with Jota, maybe needs a break? But yeah to rotate key players and still come out with a good win is brilliant.

Good solid win. Importantly picking up points when a rival dropped them. As a self confessed Keita critic, that was a fabulous goal at the end.

I think once Bobby returns Jota will drop out and rotate again. Jota hit the ground like a whirlwind last season so it was always going fo be hard to keep that scoring run going. Bobby is proven in there with Mane and Salah who are both on fire so far this season so neither of them should drop out.

It’s been said in the past that without Bobby then Salah and Mane would struggle to score. Well Bobby’s only played 81 league mins this season so that puts that theory to bed. Mane and Salah are top quality and can score with any forward alongside them. Only have to look at their international records and records for Saints and Roma before us.
