Reading through recent threads and love all the alternative stuff here. Wanted to try one myself. So who would you like to see play under Klopp ed001 from previous teams. I'm jus shy of 38 so can't really comment on rush, Kenny and so but would have loved to see alonso in a klopp set-up.

{Ed001's Note - Liddell. I never saw him play but I would love to see how he got on as he seems ideally suited to a Klopp team.}

Ian Rush. Such a hard working striker and I think would be amazing at the press. Plus he was deadly so would score so many considering how many chances we create. Mark Lawrenson. Amazing pace and great defender. Ideal for the high line. Steve Nicol to. Could play anywhere along the backline or midfield. Would provide great competition for Robbo or Trent.

Steven Gerrard. I think he'd be pretty amazing as one of the midfielders ahead of the pivot. Klopp would make full use of his power and pace, and his crossing ability would be fully unleashed either from that right half-space like Hendo does now or on the overlap as TAA has been tucking into midfield quite often. Also, he'd add goals from midfield which is the one weapon we lack.

Dirk Kuyt. He wouldn't be found wanting in a Klopp system and maybe he would get more goals. I can't think of many players that worked as hard as Kuyt.

Barnes. With modern fitness regimes etc, Barnes would be up there as one of the best on the planet. Hell, even without that for a few years in the late 80's, he was one of the best players on the planet.

Kuyt is actually a great shout, Gerrard is an obvious one.

I'd also throw Crouch into the mix for abit of fun! Sure he'd have the time of his life with the quality of the crosses that come in from full back.

Would love to have seen how Robbie Fowler or Rushie at their peak would have done in a Klopp team. Those guys were even doing a high press many moons ago.

Phil Neal and Alan Kennedy. As good as Alexander-Arnold and Robbo are, those 2 were similar in their approach play and ability. Kennedy won us a European Cup let's not forget.

Kuyt a lovely fella who works his balls off. But come on he was a very limited player no where near good enough.

Emlyn Hughes just for the smiles and the never ending hugs at the end of the match plus the interviews would be legendary, the world lost a reason to smile when crazy horse passed away.
