Big month of fixtures coming up for us redmen.

Gotta be honest, if we manage to stay in touch with city we have done well especially with athletico in the champions league.

I’m even nervous about the Watford game Saturday. Think the Brentford and city draws have got to me 😂.

It's pretty simple. If we want to hit the 90 point mark again - to be within reach of the title - we should be winning away at Watford. Even more after dropping points vs Brentford and against our main rivals at fortress Anfield.

I am less concerned about the 12:30 and more so about the fact that we don't seem to do well vs new managers or new teams. I don't know whether that is me being irrational or whether there's something in the fact that Klopp, coaches and players don't enjoy going into a game not knowing what to expect from new manager or new team.

Atletico - a draw would be great. Anything more would be a bonus.

We don’t seem to do well in 12.30 kick offs and aren’t we also missing the Brazilians on sat.

Either way even if we kicked off at 2 in the morning and were missing them we should be beating teams like Watford if our ambitions are to win the league.

Wow wow wow. We should be winning this prem title regardless of the Injury’s, kick off times or missing players through international reasons.
Everyone on here was so sure we didn’t need to sign a Gini replacement, a Striker or a “shiny new toy” in the transfer window. Can’t go back now, I’m expecting number 20.

As for the game vs Watford, we should be ready for them cos we all know what time the game will be played.

Ed I agree, Sarr will be out to prove a point. I went to our last home match v Watford and he was very good. The Away game he was even better. But I think he plays in Salah’s position so not sure if he would be a good signing.

Not sure about 6 out JK23. Curtis laid on the goal for the England U-21’s this evening and JK seemed to think there was a chance TAA and Thiago would be back after the international break. Also sounded like Diogo was a minor muscle issue in the report I read, precaution rather than anything to really worry about.

Nobody seems to now (although I stand to be corrected) if Ali and Fabs need to quarantine or not. I suspect that we will have 2 or 3 of the list available.

On another note I have to say I’m looking forward to the Watford match - it will be interesting to see how Starr goes and it is good to see the Tinkerman back in the English game.

😂 no I’m only pulling your peckers. I am slightly worried that we seem to be averaging an injury a game tho. I don’t think the squad can cope title wise because of our injury issues without a new face or two in January. Midfield seems very bleak to me, Harvey was a huge blow.

Don’t want to sound like I’m moaning but I don’t understand why these games couldn’t have been moved a couple of days so that all the players would be available. And this applies to every team missing some because of the international break.

Forcing any team to play without their best players is, simplistically, giving an unfair advantage to the other teams - in fact if they chose to field weakened teams at any other times they there would be talk of fines.

It’s just a bit disappointing that nothing better could be arranged.
