Is that the 8th time in 10 games we've scored at least 3? What's everyone's opinion on this? Formation tweak? Return of the CB's bringing us further up the pitch? Or are the front 3 and Jota just sharper?

Quite simply, Mane and Firmino have started scoring at a decent rate again this season. The front 3 hasn't looked this ruthless since the 17/ 18 season where they got about 90 goals between them.

The strikers are all playing well, Salah is in the form his life, and I'm sure that having VVD, Matip, Fab playing consistently again has helped the overall balance of the team massively.

Mane is back to his best, Salah is showing he’s truly world class and Firmino is showing that he can score, yeah they were all tap ins but you’ve got to follow the play to get them.

The return of confidence and self belief based on trusting those around them to do what needs to be done. like a I said a couple of weeks ago, it really does feel like it did around this time in 2019.

Not only do we have our CBs back but that also allows us to play our mids in midfield.

OP, the team is back fit. The spine of the team is back and other players like Mane and Bobbie are coming back to form as well. Trent is also improving with The Greek Freak banging on Robbo’s door with Thiago and Elliott still to slot in.

We are who we thought we were and the 21 game unbeaten run from last season, shows it. Let’s go!
