With Hendo probably back in the starting 11 tomorrow and Mane back on the bench it is going to be really interesting to see who drops out. Firmino and Jones will come out of the starting 11 but the big call is who misses out on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

Taki and Naby?

Taki agreed. Could be Jones after his last few performances.

I think a lot of fans first choice 11 will be very different to Klopps.

Plus Klopp might have one eye on Inter 3 days after. I’m a massive Thiago fan but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop out in prep for CL and Klopp take a few others out.

Plenty of questions to be answered.

Can Matip play 3 games in 6 days?
Does Salah start after having no rest from the Afcon?
Does Robbo, Trent, Fab, Vvd play 3 games in 6 days?
Is Diaz used to playing 3 days after 90 mins in such an intense league?

I expect us to go string against Burnley but I don’t think it will be what fans might call full strength.

But there again what do I know. One thing I do is I’m excited to see the line up.

Curtis Jones played well in the last game you lot are absolute trolls. Get behind the lad please why do we always have to find one player to bash? Unnecessary.

I think he’ll rest a good few players in preparation for the game against Inter Milan. Give minutes to players who are hungry and need it and they should have enough to beat Burnley, the tried and tested players should be getting as much rest as possible. I expect the likes of Tsimikas and Elliott to be getting game time, probably Jota as well as i think Firmino might play against Inter.

ScouseNouse, i think "bash" is a bit of a strong word. People are entitled to point out that they think someone else could do a better job in his place. Unless any comments have been deleted, the comments I have read were relatively respectful.

Scousenouse, Jones was average and unproductive in our last match. He hasn’t been at his best in the last few games. Supporting the players doesn’t mean you can criticize their performances when they have a lemon.
I rate Curtis highly and have seen him play superbly in the past and can’t wait for him to reach those heights again because recently he has been pretty average.

Don’t think Jones was particularly good myself. Very able and comfortable on the ball but his passing and end product was lacking for me. I’d like to see Elliott come straight in for him alongside Henderson and Fabinho.
