Ladies and gentlemen.
My wonderful lad has got me a ticket for the game Thursday at Anfield.
Hotel booked.
Trying to keep the cost down. Last time I came up I was late on the train and rushed to get to the match.
Is there any recommendations for places to go for a few beers during the afternoon, leading into the evening before the match. I'm coming up from London.

Appreciate any feedback

Gaz you HAVE TO hit The Albert before the game for the sing song, it's a must.

Hi Gaz the Albert is next to the ground, a bit further down is the Sandon and about a 5-10 minute walk away from the ground is liverpool supporters club. All recommended.

If you’re going for a beer around the ground buy bottles as the beer on draught is rubbish!

Yes Albert is right beside Anfield. I actually find the pints of Tetley's in the Albert ok.
