IMO opinion our biggest problem is quality over quantity especially in mid and back up striker. A serious clear out is needed this summer (say 7 players with some kind of value), replace with say 3 quality signings and replace rest with the better kids coming through.

I'd buy a forward like Bowen, a goal scoring mid like Gallagher and another mid like McGinn. These are just example names as no idea if they will leave or if we can afford so please don't say we can't afford them etc but it's what I would do and doesn't seem unrealistic like Mbappe or Haaland etc.

Chelsea is not selling their best kid in the division. The same goes with Bowen and Mcginn is nothing special. he is a glorified Henderson.

OP, none of those players will come to us and frankly, they are no better overall than what we already have cos they are not proven at the highest level which is where we already compete at. Let Gallagher MacGinn and Bowen achieve what Hendo (Captain and Legend) and Salah/ Mane (in the Mount Rushmore if PL forwards) have achieved then we can talk.
