What a result today .

Is Naby, Thiago and Fab our best midfield 3 now?

Does Diaz and Mane have to start every game now?

Is it time to discuss if Mo needs a rest on the bench for 2/ 3 games to properly get a physical and mental rest?

HUGE win . . . 👏👏👏👏.

Naby, Thiago, and Fab is our best midfield. technically gifted players who could resist the press and look forward for options. if they are doing less donkey work off the ball that simply means we are progressing as a midfield unit.

Naby had a very good game. That’s the kind of performance he was putting in before the injury he picked up against United.

I thought Naby was our best player first half he was immense. Hopefully the start of things to come.

Great result and great team effort. That midfield should start the next game if all are fit cos well if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.

Been saying since the AFCON that Mo needs a rest and some time to mentally relax. He played every game and went into ET and/ or pens in all knock out matches, he's played every game for Liverpool (with the very odd exception) in the last 15 months. Man is exhausted, rest him for United and Everton then bring him back for Villarreal.

He won't like it because like all world class players, he wants to play irrespective of his situation. But he needs to accept it and understand that he'll still have an important role to play upon his return.

Not at bad idea to rest him for 2 of the easier games 🤣.

I thought Keita was great. But I have no idea why he didn't track back Silva for the second goal.

Keita is great on the ball, and his press and tackling is really effective, but he is sometimes caught day dreaming.

I think that's our best midfield at the moment. Loved it when I saw the team sheet, that's our best 11 if you ask me, although I do think mo needs a rest. He has been poor. An in form mo would of scored yesterday. Love the lads and hoping we will every game now.

Hanif, I could be mistaken but I’m sure he was off the pitch for the second goal. Thought Hendo had come on for him by then.

Yes you are right Reyrey1.

I'm not convinced by Keita. I still think he's lazy and I'd still go with Henderson even if his legs are not what they were.

Reyrey, thanks for correcting me. I was thinking about the first goal. From the reverse angle it's clear that Keita could have easily hindered Grielish from taking an easy finish.

But I do love Keita. I think he is in the class of Bobby and Lallana when it comes to winning the possession back on the front foot. He robbed B Silva so many times yesterday, who is exceptional at keeping possession. Keita has a unique way of creeping up on you harmlessly and robbing the ball off you.
