My end of the season resolution:

1. Don't ever try to predict the final score of any match involving Manchester City;

2. Don't watch any Manchester City game live. Just check the score at half time and full time.

Six more games to go! Wow, all so close!

I will predict Man Citys next 6 results right now. They will batter every team they have left to play 2 or 3 nil. And average 70 % possession in those 6 games. Unfortunately 80% of the league seem to think loosing by 2 or 3 nil with 70 % possession against is a good result against City.

I just can't see any of the teams they have left doing anything against them unfortunatley. Its frustrating as you know exactly what will happen, for 50 mins its 0-0 then the relentless possession and attacks gets a goal, and the second and third soon follow. Just need one team actually try and attack them, but they won't.

They still have leeds (that won't be as easy as people think in between CL games), West ham and wolves. nothing is over until the fat lady sings.

Can’t see Gerrard rolling over for City.

21 Apr 2022 06:45:16
Gerrard is manager of AV
Not sure how that has relevance for Liverpool
The players there play for Gerrard the manager of AV, not former Lfc player.

It's going to be very very difficult for them to drop points from here especially when only 6 games are left.

Brighton played ok and defended well but 2nd half City literally forced their way:- (

We just need to hope in coming matches city somehow have stinker In-front of goal that's only our hope.

Gerrards team play City in the last game of the season sgynwa 🙄.

21 Apr 2022 07:28:01
I think your right kopforever, I think city might well have 1 game where they draw a blank, miss a hatful. West ham away would be best hope but if quaify for Europa league final which 3 days after city game they will put on 2nd string. Leeds and west ham away b my only hope.

21 Apr 2022 08:07:11
West ham away ⚒️.

21 Apr 2022 08:32:51
West Ham away looks to be their most difficult fixture. but unless I'm mistaken IF West Ham get to the Europa League final, they'll be playing City three days before. So I'd expect a much weakened side.

21 Apr 2022 08:38:15
Brighton played fine last night BUT when you have Welbeck up top with the dreadful Maupay as your strikers then, it is clear that they are NO threat to City and it seemed City knew it.

As for City dropping points, nobody thought they would drop the actual points they have dropped so let's just focus on our games and let the chips fall where they may. We dream on.

Let's hope you're right digger mate.

David Moyes is a manager that spent 11 years as the lesser successful neighbour of Liverpool and then moved to their closest rival where he was endlessly mocked for being a failure as Fergies successor.

Im only putting my 2 and 2 together and I might be coming up with the wrong number but I honestly cannot see Moyes wanting to do LFC or their fans a
Favour.

Especially if they are in the Europa Final or have nothing to play for in the league.

If West Ham are still in running for top 4 on that day then it’s a different story but apart from that Moyes won’t want to do LFC any favours.

In that case then jk23 mate we can always rely on our own (Steven Gerrard) who'll do everything to stop city?

21 Apr 2022 17:18:15
Kop I agree mate. On paper I think West Ham are the strongest opposition they play against but when all factors considered it’s Villa that could do it for us.

21 Apr 2022 19:15:07
Gerrard would be made up if he can, in some way, help his own team win the league. Guarantee you that.

Irish rover
Yea but you are missing the point
They play for Gerrard the AV manager, not Gerrard the former LFC player
These are rather naive thinking I’m afraid
They will play for AV’s sake, and Gerrard will also be hoping to have a gd game for AV’s sake
If I’m an AV fan I did be gutted Gerrard is more interested in LFC than AV.
