Agree0 Disagree0

City were always going to beat Watford. Watford are as good as relegated and they’ve got Roy Hodgson in charge, this was never a game to pin any hopes on. It’ll be a cricket score by full time.

Imagine pinning your hopes on Watford 😂😂😂.

Tbh Roy has got an ok record against pep, after going 2-0 up Roy completely went nuts on the touchline and tbf Watford tried to throw everything on city by trying counter attacking them, went long balls after long balls in city's box even tried to use their physicality on city which completely disrupted city's play coz city were literally forced to kick the ball as high as they can for 8-12 minutes and yet they scored 3rd.

If this game was played in the begining of the season just like their last game against Brighton then easily could've been drawn just like they lost 9 points in their Last 10 games but coz of what's at stake and Only 6 EPL games to focus they're playing with more determination, agression and purpose which is a big change compare to 2 months back :- (.

Every game City and Us have left we are favourites for because both teams are so far ahead of the rest with regards to ability and quality.

It’s blind faith that we believe City will definitely drop points against any of their opponents and be 100% certain we won’t.

All we can do is win all our games and leave it in the hands of the gods.

Tbf Watford and Brighton would be near the bottom of the list of sides in the league you’d back against them, at their own stadium nonetheless. They’re two sides that always get pasted by them no matter what, much like Burnley.

Wolves, Leeds, West Ham, Villa, Newcastle all have a much nicer ring to them.

Let's hope and pray you're right Woolback mate.

Newcastle are looking an altogether different proposition these days, especially at their own place.
That will be a toughie.

Imagine pinning your hopes on Gerrard?

I don’t see who else we can pin our hopes on. Losing to Leicester and West Ham, and drawing with Brentford and Brighton are the reason we are here needing snookers.

I can accept having a bad day at the office against West Ham and Leicester, what I can’t accept are the 5 draws where we had the lead and threw it away, often multiple times in the same game. A team of our quality should never have allowed those results to happen.

Having said that, even despite our wastefulness the only reason City are ahead of us is down to of huge helpings of luck piled on high with all the trimmings. 8 points handed to them on a plate via some of the worst refereeing decisions ever seen in the Premier League era, and that’s before you mention the 6 or 7 games they played against ravaged squads during the omicron wave while remaining untouched themselves. They’ve had about as much luck as it’s possible to have.

Based on all that, it would be nothing short of a catastrophe if we didn’t win the league, irrespective of what else we may win during the run in. I think we’re the better team out of the two sides and have demonstrated that over the course of the season. It doesn’t feel like 2018/ 19 where there’s nothing to split the two teams. I’d feel absolutely devastated if we didn’t win it.

People asking here like the seasons done so it’s pointless watching the rest? Really, I’m 29 and this is the first time ( these past few years) and ve seen our time being xponenof the best (if not number one£ teams in the world.
Enjoy it.

If City didn't draw twice with Southampton and drop 5 points to Crystal Palace then we'd not be near them. These things happen.

24 Apr 2022 11:58:14
VVVV, City say the same thing if we win the title so not sure what difference that makes. Watford and Brighton were favoured to get battered just like Utd and hopefully Everton were penned down to lose against us.

City were favoured to win games they didn’t win just like we were so twists and turns can still happen so let’s just wait and see before we give up on the team and manager who have scratched and clawed City’s lead back to being on the brink of immortality. Dream Until You Can Dream No More, would be my advice.
