I love Mo and I’m very much in the boat that we need to keep him with a new contract. But I think it’s time he stopped talking off the pitch and did his talking on the pitch again.

Salah has never made it a secret the Champions League is his preference over the PL. If he wants to exact his "revenge" on Real Madrid it won't happen on his current form. Hopefully he gets out of this slump asap.

Salah’s all around game has been below his admittedly high set standards since the turn of the year, and he has been decidedly less dynamic for some time prior to that as well. I’m not saying he has been poor, not at all but he isn’t taking the game to opponents anymore like he used to. Diaz is playing like I expect Salah to. He doesn’t even try to take a man on hardly anymore for some reason. I mean people may not like Jota all that much losing the ball so much but at least he is trying to make things happen. I’m probably just having a rant and moan as I’m p. ed off at the draw yesterday….

It would have been helpful to have Bobby on the bench yesterday. I thought our attacking play was a bit erratic at times and we could really have used Bobby's connectome skills. He's also got an excellent record versus Spurs.

Oh well. Onto the next one.

Salah before AFCON 16 PL goals and 9 assists. Salah after AfCON 6 PL goals and 3 assists. His CL stats before AFCON 7 goals no assists and after AFCON 1 goal no assists. When do we say it's not a slump by his standards?

Just in the lack of goals by Salah anyone else got the feeling it's 0-0 2v1 90th minute champions League final. Salah got the ball 25 yards out he's running towards goal getting closer can slip Mane in for a simple goal or shoot. He chooses to try and curl it goes straight into keepers mid drift and arms. Keeper hoofs it up field and they score?

IN, I bet you Salah passes to Mane. Why? He himself has said he wants to win the CL again so I see him passing to Mane to seal the win. Just my take.

UN- I get the feeling Salah would shoot in that situation. He says all the right things when interviewed but currently during game it seems he is so desperate to be the main man again he would want the glory for himself. I am not criticising. That selfishness is what has made him so good during his time with us. It’s just not really working at the minute. He isn’t drifting inside into goal scoring positions as much as he used to this along with his diminishing pace is starting to really tell. I hope he is just knackered from the amount of games. Mane has adapted his game to counter his diminishing pace and it is telling with his recent performances and goals. I hope Salah stays and regains his form but if the last few months since the turn of the year are anything to go by if we sell him it may not be as big a deal as we would have previously thought. The team is still performing whilst Salah is not I am afraid. As I say hopefully he’s just fatigued.
