Although the league isn't over, I think it is commendable to be winning 4 league titles out of 5 (or be in a position to), spend money or not. And it is equally commendable to reach 3 Champions league finals in 5 years. It is a privilege to have two of the greatest managers at their peak going at it. Hope we see the same in the next few years and hopefully we add a few premier league titles while Jurgen, the God is still with us.

Their first two under Pep were well deserved but last year and this year they have been extremely lucky in my opinion. It’s hard not to feel robbed.

{Ed0666's Note - robbed??? We drew games we should have won, Brentford & Brighton. That would have been 4 points and we’d be top. We weren’t robbed at all

OP, that may be true BUT you wouldn’t know it with the cringeworthy post match comments from Pep.

The league isn’t over yet and if we end up finishing 2nd then the signs of class is to be gracious in defeat. Anything else is just bitterness.

What a shame, Oli! I stayed away from TV after they scored 2.

AW - Some decisions were really dodgy. A lot went their way, agreed. But they are pretty good too.

Sure we did, but it wouldn’t have mattered had the period of December through to January resembled anything close to football. City have saved themselves 6-8 points from bonkers refereeing decisions alone, and that’s before you even start to get into the implications of omicron and how lucky they had it. Same as last year, it’s hard not to feel that the-microorganism-that-shall-not-be-named has effectively handed them the title on a silver platter. We’ve dropped silly points but we’re the best team in the country and the world and i won’t have it any other way. I can’t wait for us to show the world that in Paris.

Ed along with those draws, there's the awful loss to Leicester.

City are a fantastic side and we are closer to them than anyone else.
We are both fantastic sides but they have the edge on us over a full season.
Maybe my expectations are lower than most and it makes our title winning season even more remarkable. Even if we don't win the League, how can you not enjoy this Liverpool team?
These are special times. Make the most of them, Redmen.

Spot on Ed66 mate sometimes it's good to have some perspective 🙏👍.

{Ed0666's Note - I say it how I see it mate. City deserve the title and if we don’t win it then we only have ourselves to blame

It’s true Ed066, but City have been gifted sone hugely controversial decisions, in key games, that have swung those games in their favor. With competent officials they’d be what? 8 points worse off? Bitter pill to swallow.

{Ed0666's Note - we’ve had some favors from VAR also mate. I don’t feel aggrieved by City’s impending premiership victory. We should have won it this year but we’re not so fair play to city. We’ll just have to do with the cup treble.

But have we ED? Is there a game we’ve come away with 3 points instead of a point from because of a key decision? I can’t think of one but I may have forgotten. I know we have also had some strange decisions go our way but they’ve never been result defining like the ones City enjoyed.

{Ed0666's Note - mate we weren’t robbed we were naive. We let brentford score in the last minute and we’re we’re 2 up against Brighton and drew so had we won those the VAR decisions going against us wouldn’t have mattered. What about Naby stamping on someone the other day and not getting sent off that incident that went in our favor?
