So, apparently Fabinho is out for the FA Cup Final and the last two remaining Premier League matches this season. With that being taken into account, I think we can also discount an appearance in the Champions League final as well. I know the word is he has a slight chance, but with no consistent game time, I cannot see it. A shame because he really helps the team tick.

Suspect Hendo will adopt his duties now, and we will just have to hope that Thiago and Keita go without injury until the end of the season.

Although, would it be too dangerous to give Firmino the next 3 games, to give him a good run in his legs, and play him as a CAM in the final?

I. e.

Alisson
Trent, Konate/ Matip, Van Dijk, Robbo
Hendo Thiago
Salah Firmino Diaz
Mane

Or, would that be too open?

Klopp won't be changing the system to account for an injury.
Hendo into CDM and the rest of the team picks itself.

I haven't seen anything about Fabinho missing most of the remainder of the season. Until it's official from the club, everything else is just fluff.

Obviously an in form and fit Fabs is a big miss for us. I'd like to see Firmino play before the end of the season as he also brings so much to the team - defensive work up top and great hold up play (when playing well) .

However, I'm not sure sticking with Keita would be so bad? Madrid's midfield don't strike me as the most mobile and it's the physical aspect I often worry about with Keita. Keita is looking more confident and has the ability to break through the lines - it's a tricky one.

We also have Jones and Ox for the midfield. Plus Milner and Elliot. Klopp will have a plan and reasons for it.

I wouldn't play Firmino there.
It's looking like Keita will have to play and that doesn't fill me with confidence. I've got this feeling he's going to pick up a card or two in the finals, if he does play.
I'd be quite confident with Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson with his legs of two or three years ago. That said, I'm never confident.
I'm hoping the front three or four all spark in the last few games and that is enough for us.

OP, where did you get the info that he is out for the remainder of the season as I have not seen anything official about his injury timeline?

Not seeing anything about him being out for the last few games.

Rigsby - I share that concern about Keita. He's made a couple of tackles recently that another ref might have looked at differently and sent him off.

Although it's only one player, I think Henderson, Thiago and Keita looks so much weaker than Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson/ Keita.

Thiago has, at times during the run-in, looked like he's playing a different game to everyone else. If he brings his absolute best to the finals, I think that is a big step towards winning.

I’d like to see Bobby play against Saints and Wolves as I think the key to beating both of these is defending from the front.

Jones over Naby all day long,

I read it on the Echo site yesterday, quoting the team doctor or a physio, IIRC who said that we are "confident he would be available for the CL final". That implies that he's definitely going to miss Saturday and possibly our last 2 league matches too.
