i think up against southampton, the squad players have to come in
i can't wait to unleash Origi who'll net a hat trick, Minamino to grab a brace, and perhaps Firimno for one to wipe clean the GD advantage City now has.

It all depends on what happens today. If City win then I would expect to see the full use of the squad, meaning, Kelleher, Gomez, Tsimikas, Jones, Ox, Origi, Elliott, Minamino etc. If City get beat then it will be a case of looking around to see who is up for the cause and I would expect to see many hands raised, minus the injured players off course.

Yeah, there isn’t really any value in going full strength of City win today.

What’s striking me is that every game is a battle, no one is lying down to get turned over, and it makes this run of victories even more impressive.
I haven’t been watching the City games, so can’t speak of them or their opponents, but Liverpool have been amazing.
And now it’s the squad players chance to step up.

Spot on Rover mate all depends on today coz if City wins then Klopp will start focusing More on Madrid then EPL.

If they stumble which is unlikely then it's a different ball game.

I agree Irish. All depends on city today. Have you seen this talk of a play off if it all pans out?!
I know it’s unlikely but What a moment of history that would be.

We need to make sure that City have to win their last game - if we can’t win it we need to make sure that they have to win their last two matches to be sure of winning it.

Juicer, in the city games their opponents have literally been putting the flip flops on. The games have been over in the first 20 minutes. Only hope West Han realise this is a good chance to finish ahead of man United and give Cuty a game.

WDW Man City don’t have to win both games mate. A win and a draw wins it for them.

A win and a loss takes it to goal difference if we win both ours which we are currently 7 goals behind.

I'm actually very surprised by ManCity. I expected them (and said so here) to feel the weight of losing out against Real Madrid, but they've come out with smoking guns. Like their new mission is to deny Liverpool the EPL title at all costs. And that determination will be even stronger after our trophy win last night. But West Ham are fighting for playing in the UEFA Cup, or the UEFA conference qualifiers. There's a lot at stake on both sides.

The only hope is that City’s defence is so decimated by injury that it stops them going forward as much as they do.

Aside my very biased Liverpool perspective, i’d love to see it go down to the final day just for the spectacle! Imagine if both teams are level on goal difference and points on the final day, both teams at home with the crowds behind them, against two teams that could easily ship a shed load of goals but could just as easily take the game to their opponents! Has a pure goal difference shoot out of that nature ever happened in English football before, or indeed any of the top leagues in recent memory? It would be insane!
