Strange question and maybe one for the eds. I can see a lot of changes tonight but of course we still need to win. Does anyone know if Nat Phillips and Neco Williams are available? They maybe back from loan but not sure.

No I suppose not. Big Jurgs got a selection headache tonight that's for sure. I'm guessing he will want as many as his team for Paris as possible to start against Wolves but after a draining match at the weekend who starts tonight? Here's where he shows why he's the best in the business.

I don't think Phillips will be registered, and as he's over 21 he wouldn't be able to play. Neco, I'm not so sure about, but I'd assume he's not up to speed with the team so probably wouldn't get a look in even if he could play.

Even if they were available (I suspect they are not), then I wouldn't expect changes to be that dramatic tonight. If we win tonight the league title is still achievable on the last day of the season. I just don't see how, in those circumstances, and with a five day gap until the next match, we could make too many changes. We have to win this match.

I assume Fabinho and Salah won't play. Also probably van Dijk. Maybe Tsimikas could come in for Robbo. Milner might come into midfield. Jota to start up front. Maybe Firmino as well.

I think that would be quite a gamble, baz, especially that midfield. That would be both full backs plus van Dijk (enforced), all three of the first choice midfield (Fabinho enforced) and all three of our first choice front three (Salah enforced) . So with the exception of Alisson and one of the centre halves, that is a Carabao Cup line up.

I know we've had a very demanding run of matches, and 120 mins of intense football in heat on Saturday, plus the Champions League final to come, but, other than players who are injured or clearly struggling, I just don't think you can rest too many when the fact is that if we win tonight, then we can win the league in our next match (albeit out of our hands and needing a result elsewhere) .

I don’t see tonight as a selection headache at all, the squad is there, it’s a good squad - by common consent our strongest ever - and I’m sure that Klopp will make full use of it.
Maybe some of the Wembley starters will be on the bench in case of problems, 60 minutes onwards.
But hopefully they’re not needed.
I don’t want to see Thiago or Henderson on the pitch tonight at all if it can be helped.

I’d imagine Allison, Tsimikas, Matip, Milner and Bobby start tonight and then the other 6 will be depending on how the guys who played on Sat have recovered. Saints seem to turn up against us lately so this’ll be a tricky fixture to overcome.

Sadly I think Baz is right except Naby for Ox. Klopp is caught between thinking city have already won and us winning CL.

If we make that many changes then Tonight is a banana skin and their players will want to put in a show for their last game of season in front of home fans and their lap after.

I know it’s unlikely but if villa get a result we would be kicking ourselves if didn’t put out strongest team possible tonight to give it best shot.

All great saying best squad etc but this is a PL side used to playing together not caraboa cup against lower league oppo.

Fingers crossed Klopp goes full strength available and we are able to at least put some pressure on city last game….

I’m sure I read that Mino hasn’t played a minute in over 2 months and I might be wrong but wasn’t Ox’s last appearance when he was subbed against Forest in FA cup back in March time.

JK is probably right that the medical team and physios will determine who out of the players who played 120 mins on Sat will play tonight.

Henderson and Trent would be the biggest misses under the current circumstances, but I don't think Klopp will risk them if the physios say they're not ready for another game yet.
