So, does Salah get his move to Madrid now?

Wonder if that option will open up now Mbappe is staying at PSG, I have no doubt that Salah would be keen and Madrid might see Salah as a perfect solution before they eventually sign Mbappe in another 3 years time.

How about he stays here and builds on his legendary status! Mbappe staying at PSG shows how hard it should be to get these top players from their clubs. Seems Lfc fans are more excited than in dread at the thought of Salah goin. A good rest and Mo Salah will be back flying next year and will have even more time off during the World Cup.

Jadon its more actually that I think its a move that Salah would want if you could, I'd be buzzing if he stayed but was more questioning whether Madrid might actually be a realistic option for him. hey, it might incentivise him to play well against them in the champs league final!

Personally Jadon, I dread the idea of selling Salah, he’s a 20+ a season goal scorer and very consistent with it and most importantly he’s incredibly difficult to replace, the names being bandied about like Gakpo and Danjuma have “Ryan Babel type failure” written all over them. There’s not been a top class Dutch forward since Arjen Robben and that isn’t going to change any time soon, so why we’d consider looking at them makes no sense. I’d not even consider either of them as Mane replacements as they’re not as hard working or consistent as Mane.

As for Madrid, unless they’re coming with a huge bag of money they can do one, and none of their bench wasters either in px as there’s not one Madrid player worth taking in exchange.

Only answer us try and get a deal pushed through.

I think it has more to do with Salah not signing the contract and has been pushing for Madrid for sometime now. At the other hand Madrid have just lost on their 1st option hence everyone is asking coz Salah was down the pecking order for Madrid.

I agree with you on the names mentioned Victor. For me it'd have to be Chiesa coming in but that's not going to happen. I would honestly rather see Gordon given a chance than some of the names been bandied about.

Fans discussing if Salah moves or not will have no bearing on his decision. I don't see what the issue is. Unfortunately some want to control forums such as this.
Personally I want him to stay, maybe that might change his mind 🤔.

Jadon I don't see the problem with asking the question tbh, we were told that Salah was lower down their list of preferences and 2 of those have gone elsewhere.

Also this a fan site, a popular one at that, so of course a few of us may think of the same question at the same time and have no idea if it's been asked as the posts have to get approved before going on.

I don't see how us asking the question has any bearing how we are as fans?

Maybe he wants to leave and maybe we sell him if the money matches what we want? If he goes then it's all the best Mo and thanks for the last 5 years you've been brilliant. If he stays then brilliant and here's to another few years of goals and assists galore. Either way the club made the best signing they're going to make by getting the boss to extend.

Its not just today WY, last year he was our"egyptian king"but since the whole contract thing there's being an undercurrent of dislike towards him even though there's a handful of other players in the same position. Weve a Champions League final to look forward to next week, people should remember we wouldn't have even been in the competition but for Salahs form last season.

I think Real Madrid will now make an offer to Salah (or maybe Mane), now that Haaland and Mbappe are not going there. But I don't think that it will be easy for either to leave. It's never that easy to simply go where the size of the monthly check is the highest. And right now, the top EPL clubs have more of the spotlight than I can remember from the past. When you start for Liverpool today, you are either world class or damned right on the edge of it. And whoever is starting, he fits into the system like a hand into a glove.

Do you think Salah (and Mane) will ask themselves " Damn, if Haaland and Mbappe have turned down Real Madrid, why should I accept; is something wrong over there with that team or that league"? I know we've been told Salah has been angling for a move over there since ages, but things can change when the moment of truth is suddenly upon you.
