Great effort from our boys this season. Even the last 5 games or so when we’ve started to look a bit tired we’ve been finding ways to get over the line. None of the pundits/ experts gave us a sniff at the start of the season. And it could have been different 2 up against Brighton. We were robbed by decisions away to Spurs. But ultimately City won and we’re the better team. Onwards to Saturday and let’s hope we can win. Think it’s vital Salah VVD and Fabinho all start. Personally I would have Milner start with Fab and Henderson in midfield. He will give Trent more cover to help with Vinicius Jr, and I’ve felt the last few games he’s been very good when he’s come on improving what Keita has offered on the pitch. Would you start Matip or Konate? I’m again for pace saying Konate.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if VVD is fit it will be Matip alongside.

Matip 100% for me. Konate has a great future but he is still young and nerves will get to him as it showed yesterday. Matip has the experience of playing this type of game and that is important, particularly against such an experience Real side.

But the pace point is fair as Vinicius will be a problem for us. I'm torn between Milly and Keita - Milly definitely has the experience but at 37, not sure if he can stay with Modric and co. I think Klopp will go for Keita either way as he has began to trust him in these big games.

Matip and VVD for sure. I think it'd be good to keep Milner up our sleeve for second half.

Matip's experience, for me. I think it might be needed against the wily Benzema.
The pace of Sid Vicious Jnr is a threat and TAA will have to be switched on at all times. The right sided midfielder will also need to help him out.
That said, Sid Vicious Jnr's end product can be hit and miss.

Love Milner but really think he's been below par in a lot of games this year! Understandable as age has finally caught up with him. I know Keita isn't everyones cup of tea but he has performed better than Milner. To be honest i'd be tempted to go with Jones, think he could do damage against the old legs in that Madrid midfield.
