Personally i think Mane will leave. Why wait until after the final to say you're staying? It doesn't make sense to create unnecessary distraction.

Salah came out and put all the media drama to bed by saying he will be here next season and ending the Real Madrid rumours. If Mane was staying i think he'd have done the same. I think a move to Bayern beckons, sadly.

I'm pretty OK with that, it's not like he's been agitating for a move for years.
He's gave us six years of full on commitment.
One of the original front three does need to be moved on to keep things fresh and advance the squad.
His recent numbers aren't at the level that it would be difficult to find a replacement, I think we could find another younger forward to recieve the batton from mane.

Great player and will be remembered fondly if he does move on.

Think it’s the other way around. I think salah is playing a game and mane is going to say he’s staying. I could be wrong. I’d love to keep them both. It’s so annoying it’s happening on the verge of the final. Still think klopp and co signing new deals are the best deals all year.

Even with only 12 months on his contract, the £30m ish that's been suggested is dead cheap for Mane!

Agree I'm now expecting him to leave, and interesting we're suddenly linked with the likes of Kane and Lewandowski, makes me think we are making enquiries for a new player for the front line.

I don't feel ready to say goodbye to Mane yet though!

Maxx just like mbappe Kane and Lewandowski agents are talking to the club to see if we are interested. I'm Sure they must've talked to a lot of clubs I'm just not sure makes any sense financially or sporting wise to add another ageing forward.

I'd be okay with it too Snoots. He'll be very fondly remembered for decades to come. People might baulk at the €30m being rumoured, but we paid a similar amount for Thiago with a year left at pretty much the same age. Is Mane a better forward than Thiago is a midfielder? €30m is probably a fair price considering his contract.

Maxx, that thought did cross my mind. Lewandowski or Kane would be superb replacements keeping in mind Mane has played through the middle of late.

Is Mane a better forward than Thiago is midfielder? I will say yes 100%, even on reliability alone. For context Mane has played 50 games this season, Thiago 49 in his Liverpool career and I would guess the minutes per game would be in Mane's favour, not to mention Mane is a year younger. For me €30 million seems undervalued if you are comparing it to Thiago.

Is anyone considering what Mane wants? He might fancy a change.
I wish him well if he goes and he's been a great servant to the club.
I think of him as a player that has been instrumental in our successes of the past few years. I don't think of him as €30m asset.
I just hope he wins us one more game before trying out another country.

I've convinced myself he's staying. Unless the club has already told him he's going this summer, his "special announcement" speech wouldn't be particularly well received by the club. I think he's staying, I think he's scoring a hat trick, and I think he's winning the ballon d'Or! Still far and away my favourite Liverpool player.

Have to disagree with either of Kane or Lewandowski being a suitable replacement as their pace and movement is non existent, which are two key components of Mane’s game. If mane is sold, let’s get someone younger and more dynamic than either of those two.

Kane or Lewandowski would get 20 League goals for us, without a doubt.
Firmino has never had much pace but he played as our 9.
I love Mane but I'd have to take Kane instead of him.
Can't we have both and sell someone else? But not Salah or Diaz.

Rigsby, Kane is 29 this July and given his injury issues he probably has 3 good years at best, the key words being “good years”. Spurs want about £150m for a bloke at the tail end of his career, who has had persistent injury issues and who has the turning circle of the QE2. It’s a straight no in my honest opinion.

When you consider Lautaro Martinez or Darwin Nunez both have a lower price tag and are dynamic hard working centre forwards who aren’t even in their prime years yet (Nunez is 22 and Martinez is 24), it seems stupid to even think about moving for either of Kane or Lewandowski in that context as neither have any resale value and their long term prospects are bleak.

MK - Mo cracks me up, he keeps saying it's about the team yet has done so many 1:1 interviews where his contract comes up haha THen in the CL presser he says he doesn't want to talk about it and then says he is staying here next season hahahaha good on him.

But that doesn't address anything for me. If he is genuine then perhaps all it does is reduce the options to two. He leaves on a free or he re-signs. And perhaps if Liverpool get the sense that he isn't going to sign then maybe they make a move to sell.

personally, I'd rather we keep him and he go for free.

I didn't say we should pay £150m for Kane, VVVV. I said he'd score 20 League goals for us.
I try not to talk about money and I don't think we've any interest in Kane. My point is, you don't need to be young and have pace to score 20 League goals.
Kane or Lewandowski would do it for us.

Say what you want but his runs that spurs team and scores goal. I'd take him tomorrow. The lack of pace is the only negative. but for 150m better going for nunez, nkunku or martinez as u say mate.
