The biggest beneficiaries of the 5-sub rule could be fullbacks. With the rule change you have more of a case to rotate 4 specialist fullbacks.

Ramsey has his work cut out indeed JK. The question for me is where does that put Gomez. Unless he able to dislodge Matip, VVD or Konate, he could find himself having less minutes than last season, which wasn't a lot anyway.

I'll be his translator! Between 20 years in Ayrshire, 10 in Glasgow and 8 in the Highlands, there's not many dialects I can't understand. Apart from Wick.

I don't think we'll see much of Ramsey in the first team until 2023, he's still very raw, and there's no need to rush him with Joe playing well at RB and the other young RB (Randall? ) Still at the club. I think he's going to be a beast eventually, learning from Klopp, Robbo and Trent, but I wouldn't think he's going to be 1st back up immediately, and if he is, it's because he's forced his way into that position.

Wrong fir the umpteenth time again, Harry. Gomez is in line for a new deal so he is going nowhere despite reported interest from Villa and Newcastle.

As for Ramsay, if he is as good as he is rated then, he will get games. People thought Tsimikas would be some kind of backup to Robbo. That guy is NOBODY’s backup as we have seen so Ramsay can do the same if he is ready to do what it takes to make himself a viable option like Tsimikas did.

Ha ha, also, last time I checked Randall was off playing somewhere in romania, maybe another country, but think he may have meant Connor bradley. Besides, if he shows what he is about in pre season then can Definately see him getting minutes in the first team, especially the cups as can see Bradley getting a loan and neco Williams being sold.

How is Tsimikas not the back up to Robertson? Robertson is definitely Klopp's first choice and that makes Tsimikas his back up.

Personally I think the two words are cover and competition.

Tsimikas came in to cover Robbo and started that way in his first season. In the 2nd season he became his competition. And that’s the difference between a lot of players in the squad.

Some are just cover and some are competition for the starters.
