I think City win quite easily followed by spurs (cos they will counter attack all season) and Chelsea for 3rd nuts close for those two.

Mane will be a big miss but Origi and Minamino barely played in the league. I don't see how that weakens us so much so that we'll be on United and Arsenal's level. Also, how are you putting Chelsea ahead of us when their entire team needs a revamp?

And the young players are a year older and wiser. It’s all a balance between ins and outs and players coming through and players developing- but I think we’ll win the league this year. Hopefully with the young lads getting many games. (Elliot for player of the year in my hopeful opinion)

Red rebel, all opinions but sincerely think you are wrong and am pretty certain you will be. Origi and Taki hardly played and we have fresh signings who will score goals. Mane will be missed of course. United won't be doing much. Manager will be a flop.

I think OP has a potential career w sky! Your prediction mirrors theirs for last season when everyone else stated we would be out of top 2 with some event putting us out of top 4.

Alas we still lost the title by a point but I think w/ o us the league would have been a farmers league the last 5 years.

I believe it was also last season where similar arguments were made: that we had an aging team, new signings not as good, other teams bought more and better, etc. only for all of them to not even be in touching distance of us and city. So….

I think the point might be better articulated that despite the signings we’ve made, arguably the first XI is weaker this season than last. I’m not concurring we’ll be fighting it out for 4th, but I’m to be convinced that on the whole we’re better. And it could be argued that our competition has strengthened.
