Only just started it but its basically a week by week diary of the whole of last season, he mentions transfers, job offers he gets, as well as insights into meetings etc.

Arteta offered him to be his assistant at Arsenal when he started!

Its pretty interesting, last preseason Ben Woodburn played really well and Pep was desperate to keep him and have him in the team as he knew the system and developed very well. makes you wonder what could have been if Pep had his way.

Just getting started but I think it'll be an interesting read, certainly for the doubters who need the reassurance that we're building something special behind the scenes!

I’m not sure if it’s more interesting or worrying that Pep wanted to keep Woodburn.

Cheers for the heads up though Maxx I’m due a new book.

Timing of the book release is not ideal, it should have been the end of last season, not the start of this new one.

Does he say in the book that he left LFC, 02 January 2018 to manage NEC a dutch team and was sacked on the 17 May 2018,after failing to achieve promotion in the promotion play offs to the dutch eredivisie.

If he was any good do you think Jurgen would have let him leave?

If he isn’t any good why would he let him back? Imagine if trying something and failing could actually improve you? Wow!

007 if you read the book you'd know Klopp loves him, promoted him to assistant manager when he came back and encouraged him to write the book. The book includes the end of last year and obviously needed edited and printing. To turn around a book that was finished in June to release in August is pretty good going.

He was just a coach at the time and wanted to try his hand at mananging.

cheers lads. Am still waiting for it to pop up on ebay for less than the original price. 20£ is a bit much tbh, can almost buy the whole game of thrones saga for that.
Any story about woodburn sparks an interest though, being a FM 17 player still ? he's quality.

Stupid comment. What was Klopp going to do, chain him to the desk?
