Forgive me for panicking but nothing seems to have gone right at the start of this season. Pre season doesn’t seem to have left us as sharp as we should have been, while also causing injuries to half the squad. Fabinho has been out of form for months yet remains our only defensive midfielder. Klopp went too familiar with his selection last week, but this week put far too much emphasis on getting the ball early into Nunez, when clearly letting Salah and Diaz cut inside and shoot a bit more would have produced results far earlier.

Really don’t like the way this season is shaping up. I’m starting to wonder if we’ve got a lot wrong.

I still think we need to strengthen the midfield. I know we have injuries and we need to give the youngsters some time, but even at full strength I'm not convinced the midfield is strong enough. Maybe I'm wrong, but it has me concerned.

Seriously, can we stop the comments about midfield. If Klopp thinks we need one, he will get one. If not we have what we have. Quit complaining about our midfield. Today our mid field was good, finishing practice is what we need lol.
