Nunez concerns me. And I am not talking about his displinary issues today.

For me, he seems to have the physical attributes required to play for a top team but not the technical ability.

His first touch shocked me, I have never seen a significant signing have such a poor touch since Lukaku. I understand acclimatising to a new country, league, etc, but I at least expect the player to have a decent dirst touch. I would find it at least reassuring, knowing that he has the basics covered.

I am not expecting 30 plus goals in his first season, no chance. He will need a lot of time. He is raw potential, nowhere near 80 million now but in the future. let's hope. He has the right manager behind him, I only hope he mature into the great player he could be.

Nunez is going to be targeted now by defenders because they know he is going to react. Poor professionalism and he let the team down. Hopefully he becomes more resilient to this. If not, I fear he will be distracted throughout the match and not focused on his role.

Maybe just me, and maybe I am overreacting to a poor performance, but I fear the pressure Nunez is under might rob us of a real player. I really hope not because a great deal hinges on this transfers success.

Think its forgotten torres was certainly no baller . Nunez is a proper no 9. Terrible tonight ebat he did but we move on.

Torres was one of the best we have ever had, Nunez will come good under Klopp in time.

Ed25 as an Everton fan I can see why you appreciate the current situation. I honestly love your input to this page. I love the banter as that is what this is about. You will obviously see the difference in Liverpool and Manu and will accept that over time we will come good. But for now you can relesh in your fun. Bare in mind Ed 25 and as a new contributor now but a a sporadic contributor but more a reader for 15 years or more I know exactly how you are. You grant us with your banter but honour is with respect. Appreciate that mate.
