Ed001 any idea how long Jota, Firmino and Matip are expected out? Do you think Gordon might get a chance up top as it seems we are down to the bare bones already.

{Ed001's Note - they are all expected to be short term injuries and probably back at the weekend. Maybe on the bench, but I don't expect him to start.}

Cheers for reply Ed. Appreciate we get carried away with injury worries but we seem to loose them in flocks. So we could have Jota and Firmino available for Utd?

Listening to Pep the other day he said due to Jota’s being a Re-occurring injury they would look to give him as much time as possible to get back as we have the luxury of Nunez and Bobby.

Fast forward a week and Bobby has an injury scare and Nunez is banned for 3 games.

The interviewer tried pressing Pep on a date for Jota and it was said that he could be back training at the start of Sep. But with him missing pre season we might not see him until after the international break which is Sep 24 so Jota could be missing until the start of Oct.

Klopp said he expects Bobby to be ready. Sounds like Matip is out for two weeks.

No idea about Jota. Has he even started running yet?
