Hey ed001,

A distraction from the doom and gloom on this page right now haha

Purely hypothetical. With Chelsea open to selling pulisic, would you take him? He's injury prone but there's a real player there. Think he could be salah 2.0. I'm an American so I'm biased.

Hope you're well.

{Ed001's Note - on his day he is brilliant, but he clearly has injury problems, which is a shame as he works like Mane rather than Salah type of player. His pressing is top class when fit. I love him but no, I wouldn't take him because of the injuries.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with you but I think at the right price he is worth a punt. When fit, the kid is special. Though I hope Chelsea are relegated, I can’t help but root for him.

We’ve to many injury prone players in tue squad! I wouldn’t care if he’s messi like we can’t deal with more flakes! We need engines!

If people talk about transfers they get moaned at. Then if they are negative about a performance we break it up with transfer talk ?.

Come on. Haven't we had enough already? Since Sturridge, we're seeing a stream of players who have some (or a lot of) injury history, and who continue the same after joining us. There's always a reason why a really good player is available on the cheap side, and it's not for charitable reasons. I'd rather always pay a premium provided the player can be counted on a regular basis.

Pretty sure our medical team are busy enough without needing to add to their workload.

Jk23 mate too much influence from SM ??.

Edd001 is there no way to help that? Diet (truly believe in blood type diets) specific training etc?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea, as I don't know what is the root cause of his problems. I would assume Chelsea would have looked into diets at the very least. Training maybe could help, or it could simply be that he has physical issues that cannot be managed.}

Blood type diets seem to improve general health regardless of an individuals blood type. I. e., they are all well designed for general health.
I imagine most premier league sides would provide the players a lot of advice on what they should and shouldn't be consuming.

Not to mention the fact they likely have their own chefs and nutritionists.

16 Aug 2022 14:29:09
Making that kind of money I couldn’t imagine not having a personal chef haha.

Injuries is part and parcel of all sports be it where there’s billions of pounds at stake at the top end or at the lowest grass roots level.

Soon as we get to a certain age regardless of what we do people are sustainable to all kinds of injuries with the majority of them being bad luck.

If you think of a professional sports person (politically correct) they spend hours and hours every day for years of their lives doing the exact same movements unscathed and then all of a sudden that exact same movement caused an injury out of nowhere.

Obviously impact injuries are a totally different kettle of fish but again even some of those could be extreme circumstances, just look at Henrik Larson and Cisse for example.

Isn't that age 30 JK? That's the general consensus on here anyway!

I’m having a wry smile at the “we need engines” quote. We had one, Wini, and some couldn’t wait to get rid of him. He was always ‘couldn’t do this’ ‘didn’t do that’ yet he helped win us the league. And did we ever replace him? Not yet I don’t think, but there we are; we will get better.

As good as he can be the last thing we need is another player that is injury prone. I was never Gini’s biggest fan but at least you knew he would always be available. The only players in our first team that don’t seem to be injury prone are Alisson, Virgil, Trent, Robbo and Salah. That could be extended to Elliot and Diaz but still too early to say objectively.
