Hi Ed 1, I like many on here have been looking to pinpoint where the rot had actually started
As much as it pains me to admit, I am placing the blame at your feet.
Ever since you moved and started watching the odd game things have gone pear shaped for us . Have a word with yourself mate.
Poor Pep and his book seems to be getting all the blame . Shame on you ?.
{Ed001's Note - the performances were going last season, so it predates my move.}

Was that Keita’s worst game for us yesterday? Klopp must be smoking something this week if he thought he was going to get anything out of that game with him in midfield. I would honestly put the dinner lady in there before keita!

Longthing you’re spot on there about Naby but it’s not as if we were any better for the half of the game he didn’t play.
Probably one of the worst performances effort wise I think I’ve seen under Klopp. And this season that’s starting to become a regular occurrence now.

Keita was dire, lucky not to be sent off but as JK says it wasn’t any better in the 2nd half, maybe even worse actually. It was just a brutal performance all round with only the odd moment from Gakpo and I mean the ODD moment.

Per the last podcast by the Ed’s, we had a chance to send Naby out on loan till the end of the season and it didn’t happen. He then, starts this game and I only noticed he was playing when he was fouling everything that moved in a Palace shirt and should have been sent packing but for an incompetent ref. Why he was not let go on loan? Only Klopp can answer that. Hopefully, someone will ask him that.
As for the game itself, we should be happy we didn’t actually lose it with the way we were playing and with the way Trent and Matip were literally trying their best to give Palace a goal in the first half.

A grim lineup, a grim performance. They all feel sorry for themselves. It’s going to be a painfully long final third of the season.

I imagine the reason he didn’t go on loan is obvious. Midfield needs help and we have terrible injury record don’t need to ask klopp.

I think we need to get used to a midfield that uses Henderson, Milner, Fabinho, Bajcetic and Keita.
Elliott played there for a spell yesterday but Klopp conservatively moved him forward and put Milner at right back. I don't think he was too disappointed with a draw.
I don't know whether Arthur is ever going to play for us again so I reckon it's going to be any of the above five; especially away from home. Pretty depressing, isn't it? ?
For me, Elliott is not a midfielder and he's going to cover the front three.

The way I t’s going we might have someone new to ‘critique’ in the next couple of weeks. Arthur’s on the mend….

No matter what you think of Jones, I refuse to believe that he is ever a worse option than Keita. Only the manager can answer to that. For a man who built everything on the basis of effort and meritocracy, he really seems to have lost his way. It’s indefensible.

Arthur surely cannot be worse than Keita. I would rather see Clark or Morton starting games than Keita. Looks a completely different player to that at RBL. Almost like a skrull.

Scouse John, I call porkies on that one, bro. You tell me, what is Naby good for right now? What does his continued presence add to the team apart from adding even more issues cos the guy does absolutely NOTHING on the pitch and has done NOTHING for us going 3/ 12 years now, imo.
We ain’t got a good midfield right now and needs help BUT we are worse with him in it cos he adds nothing which makes the midfield issues even worse. At least, Jones, Carvalho and Elliott WANT to be here and give their best and give effort do sorry bro, someone does need to ask Klopp about what this ghost is still here.
