Morning chaps with Inacio who we are reportedly interested In and Braithwaite seemingly having similar price tags do you see a world where liverpool go for Braithwaite. He's already got the prem experience and he looks like he's going to be class. Liverpool are worrying me at the moment I appreciate it's only the middle of July but we are already seeing big moves being made and we are seemingly unable to even let a player who doesn't wat to play for us leave let alone bring anyone in.
{Ed025's Note - i think history is against Jarrad joining Liverpool RW, it very rarely happens mate even though i think he would be the perfect fit..

Thanks for the quick reply, sadly I expected this answer but I think he would be a fantastic addition.

Everton don’t need to sell and if they do sell it will be for a record fee for a defender. I reckon Branthwaite will go to City or Chelsea.

Is he better than Quansah?

Hasn’t Inácio said he’s open to a move to Man Utd, just so you know he could end up there.

Should have got Onana if we could, guy is a beast. Just what we need in the middle of the park.
{Ed025's Note - imo hes not as good as you think Brummy, he struggled to get in a poor Everton side last year mate and came across a bit too laid back to the point of lazy, also a bit rash in the challenge and got booked lots of times, he needs time on the ball and would suit a continental style team more i think, as you can probably tell...im not his agent.. :)

Really Brummy? I haven't been overly impressed with Onana when I've seen him. That lad Branthwaite on the other hand has looked dead good on the ball and would be a great signing for us. maybe not worth the money being quoted but if that's the going rate I guess that's what he costs. Seems like a city player to me.

Personally branthwaite looks a bit too green for a top team to depend on him at the back in key games. He needs to stay at Everton and develop his game more and maybe in a year or two he'd be ready for a move if Everton hadn't improved as a club into something he'd want to stay with.
His positioning often gives strikers opportunities. I'm always a little wary of players with good recovery because id much rather have a player who doesn't need to recover because he doesn't make that mistake in the first place.

I’d agree with that Nevada.
It’s ok for a defender to look good in a team that comes under a lot of pressure. It’s all heading out crosses, blocking shots, recovery tackles. In other words, basic defending.
The best defenders at top teams can comfortably hold a much higher line, be switched on even though they are not being constantly threatened and stop attacks before they begin with anticipation and positioning as well as do all of the basic stuff.
I’ve seen nothing that tells me Branthwaite can do any of that. He’s a decent defender but you need to be more than that to make it at the very top level.
